Hi Dr., your video is encouraging. I have passed my MBBS from India in 2000 and completed my MS Anatomy in 2006. I have heard from somewhere that after such a huge gap, US Medical colleges do not give credits for foreign medical courses, person has to do entire MBBS/MD all over again in the US, is that true?
Epilepsy is a seizure that some times occur at a time that you are not aware please I wish to encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ that we should always be prepared when going anywhere

Congratulations on your achievement. You might have to aim for neurosurgery here. I have seen IMGs in neurosurgery. It is challenging not impossible.
@@ApurvaPopat can I apply for a fellowship if I clear step 1 and 2?
Sir i am studying in Kazakhstan.... Degree of Kazakhstan is valid to give usmle???
Absolutely..!!

Why not!
By treating underlying disease, regular monitoring, slow down diuresis etc
I worried about this for the longest time 😢 Thanks for the explanation 👍

I don’t have Instagram, I hope you would answer me here. When should I start preparing for USMLE? I have cracked NEET-UG this year and I’ll be joining MBBS now. I’m looking forward to become a gynaecologist in USA.
As soon as possible!
Hello sir, thanks for your video i think i have some info about the exam. I just gave neet ug 2024 and will not be getting govt clg as rank is 70k, already taken 2 drops and this year i had dry eye due to qllergy which cause 37% meiobium gland loss and not able to give neet ug properly, but i think i am good at observing thing and research things since middle school but it was not any use as neet ug is just about cramming, i have to cram each and 3very line of ncert which is just not my thing, i tend to use 2,3 books then study topic concepts by my own, mean in short i am very good at physics and only understand physics concept and never learnt any formula, i derive fromula when needed Sir plz tell is this what usmle checks and can i crack it if i have this type of thinking and understanding, or it will be just this neet ug in which i have to cram every line of ncert. And also last, you replied in many comments that marrow is good for neet pg and have to use resouraes specified for usmle, so if i just start studing dor usmle step 1 from 2nd year start onwards as you mentioned in your video, and in during internship if i study for usmle will i able to crack neet pg just for backup, mean they are coorelated or i uave to study differently for both. Added later- sir i had reviewed your published research on pubmed, so i today watched some korean movie, their i find a main point due to which majority of korean movies are just very good and okay okay good, very less will say that the movie/drama is very bad, for example is this called as reserach if i do this tyoe of observations in medical field and write a journal or i have to do research that no one had thought and should be stictly medical field based like relation between spics and dry eye syndrome.
Usmle is really a great example if you like concepts, unlike NEET PG which may focus on memorisation more. You will definitely be benefited from the videos
Hi
Mc ardle disease GSD type V
Excellent!
I don't really know what I was diagnosed with like 6 ish years ago doctor said it was a slight form of epilepsy, ( whenever I closed my eyes, when I try to sleep or even when I was in class and teachers would say close your eyes even for a couple seconds if I wasn't focused fully on my breathing I would get a little tremble like a little shake, it really affected me when I was sleeping but I didn't saw anything until a day my mom was sleeping with me a couple years later when we moved and a doctor saw me) I was put on Keppra it works but I've noticed self things on myself I don't know if this was even the right drug for me also idk if there are better prescriptions I could be put on if anyone could help thnx 😅❤
Hi Sir, My daughter is planning to start her preparation for step 1 as she is finishing her first year MBBS exams next month. We planned to go with KAPLAN where they are charging 3.7 lacs for supporting till interviews including Visa related support. Is it worth to have such a support or can’t we do all those individually?

Hello Dr. Popat. This is an amazing video. I'm from Pakistan and your program interests me a lot. What are the chances of older graduates (2017) starting their USMLE journey now? I have completed my internal medicine residency this year from my country and starting my USMLE journey now. Do I have any chances?
Wishing you all the best for the match!
You can do more videos on current management based on a clinical trial results.
Thank you Sir

Is matching into surgery residencies in the USA as a FMG very difficult?
It is challenging not impossible
Would it be safe to sleep in it over night
Cost-benefit analysis 😀
Could it work on cancer?
We still need more research on this
Can i build one big enough to work out in?
That’s an interesting thought. It is going to be extremely expensive though 😀
@@ApurvaPopat thanks I might know a guy
Ive heard that indians are not allowed to enter certain residencies could you explain which branches are easy to crack and the respective pays in each sir😊
Where have you “heard” dear?
@@ApurvaPopat few of my friends who already cleared step one said that getting into plastic surgery or gastroenterology and some other residencies is pretty difficult for Indian Medical Graduates
Or becoming a doctor after getting those special branches in residency is difficult?
