Nice I like it.
Makes me happy and sad at the same time.
Dreaming is hands down the best tune in the Firm's catalog.I always played it in open G tuning from the jump.
When I did that interview I had no idea Tony played guitar on that. It’s my favorite by them also! His answer came as a pleasant surprise!
One of the best 🎸 ever
What songs has mitch written?
@@Johnortman422 Mitch has several solo albums.
I seen this band at the spectrum in Philadelphia. Had front row. Great show
Been following the Fretless Monster for a while now, and yet every day uncovers a new surprise with him!
Excellent tribute! Was a little weird hearing background music without his exquisite drumming though! 😁 Proud to share the same birthday with this legend of legends!
Clickbait.. Fake AI SHIT... P{lease stop this crapppppp
Try to palm mute the open e
Sweet 🎉 I got goose bumps. Nice tune
Congratulations,Play It Loud As Always 🙏🇮🇳
Good delay, overdrive.needs more treble / lead pickup. One of the top 20 metal/ rock riffs of all time 🥰
A shit drummer😂
I agree Tom Jones is the best singer.
If you only knew how much you are so so missed by millions
This is there best album
I'm thinking he was an EVH fan !!
Anyone remember a Guitar Player Sammy Steel? He was in a band called Mutiny, they opened for Great White at a club called Shamus Obriens in Elmonte Ca? So many Great Bands back in the day, Daggahogget, Raven, Longshot, Stonehenge, Frenchkiss, Blitzkrieg, Dante Fox, US 101, anyone else you might remember?
Thanks a Bunch, yeah 👍 FR Frustration, and yeah on a Kramer is what I wanna get but do not know how to restring 😮
Sometimes I feel bad for Alex I don't think people give Alex enough or not as much credit as they or we Eddie. Love and miss the band van Halen 😢❤. We miss and love you Eddie van Halen rip 😞😢❤️❤️ we are so honored and proud to get to hear your son Wolfgang mammoth wvh he kicks ass. ❤❤
This is from "Act Like It Hurts" from the "Women and Children First" era. Parts of the song ended up in "House of Pain" amd "Get Up." Its been online for a quite a few years now.
This is a different recording and performance. Yes, “Act Like it Hurts” has been online for twenty years. This has some of the same riffs in it.
Keel is awesome! Great albums!
Saw Pantera three times before Dime’s murder, he was special!!! No doubt
Absolute wizard!
Nice bass. I played a Tobias fretless at Guitar Center which is an expensive bass. I loved it. Like you I am a guitar player and have a bass. It's a Fender Japan 1970s RI from 1998. I want to look into that Rogue you have. Do you know of Mick Karn? He is deceased and was known as an excellent fretless player. He was from Japan, not the country but the band. He was not Japanese but British but Greek ethnicity. I just liked and subscribed.
@@jamesgretsch4894 I don’t know Mick Karn, I’ll check it out! I still am enjoying this bass, fretless is a challenge for sure though!
knows how to rip
Sounds amazing
Met Jeff at Downtown L.A. Rehearsal Studio last year with Chris Poland (XMD’) as well, our band uses their same room😮 Both wonderful, humbled human being of good nature 🤗😥
no
So many xerox'd Sykes guitar style. He did borrow a bit from Gary Moore was still his own man.
Tony is as close to Shawn Lane as I've ever heard... there's no higher honest reckoning
Finally!!! Someone that recognizes the 2 greatest virtuoso guitarists I know I've ever heard. I have to include Jason Becker, and a few select others... but Shawn was known to be eons beyond any other virtuoso as stated by Paul Gilbert, Andy Timmons, Tony MacAlpine, Steve Vai. Shawn admired Holdsworth, but far too humble to admit he was way superior to Alan.
@collegeparkwhiteboy glad to see some people who really know their guitarists watching my vids. Shawn Lane, Tony MacAlpine and Jason Becker are monster players!
Back in 1985 my friend and I saw Yngwie at Summerfest Festival in Milwaukee. We got in at noon when the gates opened, and he was by himself doing a sound check. I asked him “ Can you play some Steeler?” He yelled at me NO! Me and my friend still laugh about that to this day 🤣 I interviewed Ron backstage in 1986 and kept asking him about Steeler, and he got frustrated and said I don’t want to talk about Steeler🤣
Haha, yeah I think he’s (Ron) mellowed out on the topic over the years! Yngwie? I’m sure he’d still say “No” if you asked him to play Steeler. Haha
My favorite band, ❤❤❤❤
i got the free trial of the neural dsp mesa boogie, i connected my amps headphone jack to my laptop and it aounded like the behringer cable you had, idk if i want to invest like 90$ on it so i found a usb cable like this, would the latency be alright?
how was the latency?
For me this has almost no noticeable latency. I did however, end up buying an audio interface shortly after. (Scarlet solo). So I only used this cable for a few months, but it did work well when I used it.
No he was to busy doing drugs
Back when the Phil Collins Genesis was the best.
The most underrated guitarist of all time. ❤ Tony.
He doesn't need to sing. He does that through the guitar.
But he is also a good singer!
I still have that album from when it was released.
Probably the best 3 to 4 note pull off/ hammer on player out there
If anyone wants the song it’s called main squeeze and it’s an unreleased song that was gonna be in the album women and children first . Enjoy 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Ray Gillen backing vocals on "Lady Luck".
Yep, Ray's vocals on the "It's too late" demo are awesome also!
Dueño de un talento único
The tapping King! Grande Reb!
It's a shame that the songs Lady Luck and Rockin and Rolling Our Lives Away have never appeared on any album.
Tony Franklin is was and IS The Firm. Ask anybody.
Cool do da back cover
Thanks for this! Sponge should play Big Empty by STP on their covers album
They could definitely do a good version of it! Thanks for watching!
