This is another episode of a friendly challenge Sim from @voyagerfoiler5976 and myself did at the spot known as MOKES on the North Shore of Oahu.
We tried to flat water out of the lagoon and send it down to the finish.
It ended up turning into a playful surf run

This Downwind run is one of the longer runs you can do on the island of Oahu. I was lucky enough this day to join up with locals Ryan, Brian and Aaron. The run reminds me alot of the Maliko run in Maui and the most special part for me was coming in at Mokes and seeing the beautiful mountains on the shoreline.

I was lucky enough to be invited to the first downwind specific foil camp that was held on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Run by Kahi and Simeon from Voyager Foiler. This was month long camp that had 4 seperate groups that had 5 days of personal guidance, teaching and feedback each to the Foildrive and SUP guests.

Soo Good!! This is the type of coverage we need to see at the upcoming race events, on board helmet or body mount cameras on competitors paired with comms communication on strategies throughout the race between competitors and the support boats + support boat on board cameras and interviews etc. Similar to how Formula 1 is, obviously the racers would be focusing on the event, but some of this banter would be epic and expect some would make for better content creators for us viewers than others. Better coverage = better viewership = better experience = more prize money, win win really.

I'm liking this low volume mid length idea, everyone else is making these 45L+ mid lengths so they can crossover to winging but the low volume + length sounds so much better for a prone focused foiler
