Molly's saddle shoes are so cute

A CZcamsr that went to the event mentioned many of the stuff she wanted (Kirsten's b'day outfit was back ordered) was out of stock. The gift bag wasn't that great. The older Truly Me outfit which everybody probably had multiples of already was included. Granny square vests have been back for a couple of years.

I just picked up the Middy outift (no boots tho) and I think I’ll feel the same way, that I won’t want to take her out of it. She looks amazing with the accessories and everything too!

My neighbor gave me a bunch of PC AG clothing (which I paid fair market value) In it was Kirsten's meet outfit and I noticed something was not quite right. The apron/dress was different than anything I could find on the internet and it had no PC tag. Well it seems that someone sewed a darn good replica. Dress had no growth hems either. Thank goodness I paid her after I inspected everything but she gave it to me anyway. I'm not saying yours is a replica I'm just gonna ask you if there are any variations (no tag) of Kirsten's meet dress that you know of. Thanks. I have two of Sam's red dresses and they're both the common ones.

Everyone has their own unique talents. You have a love of dolls and that shows through. You also have a great doll collection to show off and you should. Don’t worry about what happens in the background. We all have stuff going on behind the scenes. Thanks for keeping it real. 😃👍

You're doing fine. You'll learn even the seasoned CZcamsr creators still fumble. I could never do videos, I don't have the gift to talk for a period of time. With Molly's hair comb it rebraid it dunk it in hot water air dry then take the braids out and she'll have her waves back (I hope).

Oh yes keep her for sure! If I ever question a doll I put it in a closet for a bit, see if I want it or not. But that sounds like a cool find! Oh Molly glasses have different coloured rims? I got a set with her Christmas dress. But I think they were silver

I think the outfit is adorable. The sweater looks like angora but I know it's not. Yes I get the necklace struggle.

Geez back in the day when we bought a non-historical doll we got a really nice more than one piece outfit with it. (sigh). I don't know if you could do it but it would be fun to see a video on the " history" of the just like you, truly me etc outfits.

I think everyone purchased so much last year including myself. They had great sales, new offerings, holiday specials etc. so I think many spent too much last year and are still catching up. So don't beat your self up so much, its hard not to "buy in" so to speak. Love what you are sharing and your concept of being real. Why not learn to sew? Just an idea. Its fun and you can copy many of the outfits. Oh by the way I have a DNP as a nurse practitioner and no you or anyone else does not have a mental problem for collecting and having fun with what you love.

I totally relate to many of your points. I do feel like there is a tendency to group doll collectors into having mental illness. To be compassionate to those that actually do have mental illness is the first place to start. Many of us have varying degrees of struggle in life for many different reasons. Sometimes I feel the world is ill and we doll collectors have found a way to survive and even thrive in this chaos that we call our world. It is very wise to be intentional with our collecting. It is a journey, not a race. We have our whole life to collect all of the little things that would add to our collections. Content doesn’t have to only be about consuming. Thanks for starting this conversation. I think this will be a good series. Blessings to you my friend. 🙏☺️

Yeah I like those redo covers with the actual dolls. Mattel should sell those (what size? I don't know, I'm thinking original book size, sans text). The pink ribbon on K's headpiece is different old and new. I had bought the new K's outfit it fits my PC. I cannot compare because I do not have the original. I'd love to see a video comparing the old with the new side by side. I wonder if the original classic mold(s) are in good condition, molds usually wear out in time. I also understand the new dolls are shorter than the old. I don't know if this is true. I really enjoyed this video (I didn't fall asleep) it was fun.

Names are hard. Sometimes I have to set my dolls up and stare at them for awhile. And, don't tell...they don't really mind if you change their names!🤭

One of my doll club members says to put a bar of Irish Spring soap (soap bar should not be touching items) in a sealed box with smelly/smoky items and let sit for a while checking once in a while. She says it really works!

Hi Kyle, it is too bad that these dolls didn’t do better. I think the colored hair was a little too much for some people. I do think the one with purple hair is cute and has beautiful eyes that really pop. I’m sorry about your Dad. I lost my Dad a couple of years ago. It’s nice to have things that make us think of our loved ones. Jackie Frost is a great name!
