ciao ho comprato la consolle ma non vedo i giochi, vedo le cartelle con le varie consolle retro' ma quando clicco sulle consolle non apre niente. c'è qualche procedimento che devo fare per istallarli o va in automatico. Ho messo la scheda sul pc è vedo i giochi. cosa devo fare per renderli visibili sulla consolle. grazie

It is a shame to see physical media dying out. Already there is a generation who have moved beyond it and fully embrace a digital future. It's understandable on the tech side with not only materials needed for the media, but for the device/unit to play them and the need for repairs and skill for maintenance. Still, it's also a shame for that loss of control, as you mentioned. The fact that upon purchasing a movie physically, I always have the means to watch it and I'm not beholden to a streaming service picking it up after another loses the rights. I don't have to chase it down just to watch it. I don't have to purchase a plan for a new service because it's no longer available on the one I do have and pay for. Stuff like that is often overlooked. What it comes down to is the impossible task of finding that middle ground. How can the digital product I purchased always be available to me outside of the profit hungry maneuvers of the streaming services? So long as someone, somebody out there can still make money off it, it'll never happen. We've seen this sort of thinking before with vehicles and appliances. There was a time when they were made too well, "made to last" as we say. Made to last meant no need for another, or often, for repairs, both are instances of profit. Now we live in a world where it's common to replace vehicles and appliances in a handful of years and it's to the point where very few even bat an eye to this. Sheep--we're all just sheep.

Although I want physical media ownership to stay it is hard to see the world holding on to it beyond collectors. My brother told me the other day that he hasn't owned any physical media in the last 5 years. Not purchased, but owned. He only streams media. This is not something new for a good portion of our population

Oh jeez, where do I start... Ok first off welcome back! Next , Mogamecon was a sh*t show and that's all I'm gonna say. Now as far as CZcamsrs in trouble or worried about ad revenue... my opinion is if you're choosing to do this full time you BETTER know that you can support your lifestyle and pay bills before deciding to do it. The ad revenue I make a month barely puts gas in my car and that's more than I ever expected to make. As far as patreon, I would NEVER expect anyone to pay to see my face. On to the retro video game bubble. I do think we are approaching pre-covid levels on most systems. The bubble isn't quite bursting and may never but prices are coming down and I did a video with data to prove that. I'm a reseller and trust me, prices are coming down. Finally emulation isn't a bad thing, especially for disc based systems. Oh and Do They Know It's Christmas was a better song. But yes the 80s were f'n amazing. All that being said, I look forward to new content and if you ever want a guest please hit me up 👍 BTW, How bout those Chiefs!!!

Ive never tried punchout or ninja gaiden on an emulator but tbh it feels pretty spot on for me. Make sure your monitor/TV is set to game mode. Oh and also make sure you use a quality controller. You cant go wrong with pretty much any Xbox controller. I just dont trust those bluetooth android type devices.

Nice video man for long time the Sega Genesis mega Drive was my favourite system of for a long time, and I realised of all the systems I have owned since most of them have been Nintendo systems with two or three Sony systems, but I keep coming back to Nintendo and I recently got Nintendo switch OLED, the recent Mario, edition for Super Mario wonder Honestly, this week has made me fall back in love with gaming again. I honestly don’t need any other system and when Nintendo releases the successor to the switch I’m gonna be there day one which is such an awesome console and is proof that you don’t necessarily need super flashy graphics to have fun in video games. All you need is great gameplay, that’s intuitive easy to pick up and play and a great story, and the Nintendo is the master at both again great video.

Unfortunately for me it PAINS me sadly that I love EA games and I wish that the sims and madden was on the switch as that would definitely put the switch in consideration for my all time favorite console but its missing other games ie batman, tekken, soul caliber, marvel vs Capcom and others so currently the ps3 is my all time favorite with the series s giving it a run for its money BUT.......the switch oled is growing on me.....A top 5 console for sure.

I like Reggie's thinking of when it's a digital world, taking that time to carve out the physical backlog. Lol Mark my words, when GameStop is gone, people who shat on them will be boo-hooing with click bait nostalgia videos... We've been lucky I guess as we've consistently had great customer service at ours, and knowing the employees they've helped us time and time again, but yeah, it varies shop to shop I know. Also, I know we're not normal, but we DO go to ours more often for merch like plushies as most our game purchases come from online. Not all, but the better portion due to more competitive pricing. I could not get into Fallen Order but glad the sequel is getting hype from those who loved it. We mostly enjoyed TLOU HBO series. I've played through the games a few times for Laci and her sister, but curiously enough, we all despised the Nick Offerman episode. To us it felt like a waste of time and didn't add anything to the series. Now, do a spin off in the world of TLOU and it would've been great, but not randomly shoe-horned into Joel and Ellie's story. Also, maybe Naughty Dog doesn't want to do a third game because of how bad they frakked up the second. Boom! Haven't started Mando season 3 yet but I've not been hearing praise overall. Fingers crossed its just over-picky SW fans or something.... Whew, sorry for the novel but don't go over so many great topics! Ha ha ha

I have seen the same in my area here in Michigan extremely low inventory on physical games and its not showing signs of getting better. I have been telling a gaming buddy of mine digital only is going to happen a lot sooner than he thinks.

M-disc optical media is "FOREVER" cd discs.. they apparently are rated for like 1000 years.. they are organic material and not the conventional dye used in regular optical media. also physical media forever.. sad to see it going away !

So, when it comes to digital vs physical... you could make a case for either of them all day long. Hopefully they can coexist for a few more year. Gamestop does suck and yeah it will be gone by 2025. As far as Sun being boring watch Succession... you'll thank me later 👍

I almost jumped on this as well cause I love their other products, but since I have modded GBA and GBC thought I didnt really need it. With the jailbreak though and openFPGA and being able to do NES, SNES, GENESIS etc on it really makes it even more desirable.

I'm really thinking about picking one of these up. The beautiful screen and the fact that it has a headphone jack (which the GBA SP doesn't have)

So I had to come back to this to avoid Willow spoilers, but I'm back baby!! Sounds like we share a lot of the same views on the series; despised the character that was Kit, a lot of the "modern" pushes and the use of current music was so off-putting. I really liked your comparing it to a CW teen drama over a high fantasy--YES! Exactly! Boorman was fantastic though; oh, and Val Kilmer's son did his voice parts which was amazing for how similar they sound (have you checked out the bio pic Val did? His son narrates it and it's uncanny how much like his father he sounds). Also, I liked your points on the CZcams changes and giving a heads up; YT gets a little too comfortable thinking they'll be around forever, and I'm not saying they won't, but once upon a time Blockbuster was king...MySpace was king...Napster, Yahoo, kings in their own rights. Even Netflix ruled streaming and now....not so much. Oh, and we also love miserable and cold weather, not for what it is but what it brings in comforts, like hot foods and drinks and snuggles under blankets.
