Seen in this video (in order) is Chugiak Rescue 33, Chief 31, Medic 31, Engine 31, and Tender 35. Followed by Anchorage Tender 11 and Engine 11. Not seen in this video is Chugiak Medic 35, Engine 33, and Tender 33.

I'm just trying to figure out how the fire station acquired the Omega 90 for that F-150. I thought those sirens were discontinued. Or is there some sort of software configuration that I'm not aware of for the FS Pathfinder sirens to mimic the Omega 90 tones? Would be real nice if someone could clear it up for me. I'm not a FS guy by any means but the Omega 90 has a place in my heart.
@@YelloBruh It was re-used from the early 2000s suburban that this vehicle replaced (that one was dual tone), check my channel for one of the videos with “utility 33” to see that one. Brush 34 also has a dual tone version.

Some history: SP steam locomotives exclusively used their airhorns in service. The steam whistles were only used while moving in the yards. You rarely hear the horn on 4449 because its caretaker, Doyle McCormack, doesn’t like it. Additionally, the GS class was never able to change the tone or “quill” their whistles, they could only be on or off with a button. Doyle installed a rope on 4449 so he could have control over the tone.
This is when Michigan Ave was normal, good people,warm night, good sirens,no crime,no construction,no ubers no lyft nice smooth traffic

THIS SIREN HAS BEEN REPLACED BY A 2001-130 IN OCTOBER 2022
