Just Steps from the Airport | InterContinental Johannesburg O.R.Tambo Airport | Junior Suite
Here to share our experience of a comfortable stay at the InterContinental Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport. Located right next to the airport, this hotel is the perfect blend of luxury and convenience.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and quickly upgraded from a Classic Room to a spacious Junior Suite, thanks to our InterContinental Ambassador Diamond status. Our suite on the fifth floor was flooded with natural light and provided with complimentary sherry.
The bathroom had a separate bathtub and walk-in shower, quality toiletries, and a large mirror outside. To relax, the room had two comfortable armchairs, perfect for lounging.
Dining at the 24-hour Quills restaurant was a highlight. The restaurant's unique African-inspired decor and delicious menu made every meal a delight.
Not only is this hotel close to the airport, it also offers top-notch comfort and luxury, perfect for travelers in transit and those just starting their African adventure.

Hyatt Hotel Canberra - A Park Hyatt Hotel is located in the heart of Canberra, close to the Parliament House, the National Gallery of Australia and the Royal Australian Mint. The hotel has a luxurious atmosphere with a sophisticated décor. Despite Canberra's lack of luxury hotel options, we won't be returning to the Hyatt Canberra due to the dated rooms and lack of dining options near the hotel.

We stayed one night in the Conrad Bangkok Terrace Suite which has a private terrace. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We also loved the Executive Lounge, which has a wide variety of food and drink options. Having said that, we felt that the rooms are dated and the service is mediocre; given that there are so many luxury hotels in Bangkok, we are unlikely to return to Conrad Bangkok again.

The villa is very spacious and comes with a private pool and we got a great view of the lagoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Thanks! The dinner buffet and breakfast buffet are complimentary during our stay, while the a la carte main course cost around USD15 to 25.

For the same price per night in the US, you can get a one bedroom hotel room with a bed, iron, ironing board, hangers, coffee maker, TV, shower, toilet, sink, towels, mini fridge, lock box, cabinet drawers, aircon and sometimes, a welcome chocolate chip cookie per guest. Parking may cost extra.

For the breakfast, are we limited to only 1 set of food per pax or we can eat and order as much as we want?

I think this is the only country where I may be able to afford a 5 star hotel for a day or two. Im planning to travel in maybe 6 months so all these hotel videos are good for me. Great shots.
