For last 40 years I stays at near by Mumbai. I never seen any extream 😢mad type god worships here even Pithru karma/ gulika/ Vishnu mayaswami seva/ Komaram thullal etc and such type worships. During Karkitaka Amavasi One kerala theerstha sthaan kerala based 7000 people participate bali karma where as Origin Gothavari 200. Here people hindus much better in their life. Is worship of these dieties are necessary? I think all these are bull shits. Maharashtra is No 1 in their ecconomy. Pray god. One and only methord to follow!!
Kerala is following kasmeeri Thandra. Three or four type thandra is exisited in India. So style of worship is different Devatha upsana is not wrong. Because Devatha are different version of God. Here we can apply istadevatha sidhadhem. Every people have an ISTADEVATHA which is According to he likes. worship of the Devatha at last reach in GOD. There is no different between God and Devathas. Devatha upasana which is good method to ordinary people or not more spiritualy developed.. while we follow devatha upsana, we should conected with part of devathaupasana like oracle, prithru bali etc. Prithru is equal to Devathas. After following devatha upasana we should reach above the stage of Devathas. Then if you like you can discontinued the Devatha upsana. We cannot join into P G without passing schools levels. By practicing devatha upasana which purify our mind that will help spiritual development. In Bhagavath geetha Krishna says that every worship that is may be prithru ,prethas ,devathas , will come to me. The Parabramma is only exisited. Universe ,trees ,animals all creatures etc are part of parabramma. Worship which is for upasakas or Bhakthas ,peoples not for Devathas or God. Worship which purify our minds which leads to God and MOKSHA.
