His Eminence the 3rd Jamgon Kontrul Rinpoche, one of the four regents of the Kagyu lineage, discusses the central importance of Tsurphu Monastery and predicts the 17th Karmapa's return there. Footage is from the late 1980's. The 17th Karmapa was enthroned at Tsurphu several years later, and personally oversaw the rebuilding of Tsurphu, which has now been completed.

How Blessed I feel to have stumbled upon this video... which also Includes footage and audio recording of Vidyadarha the Venerable Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. In my 11 years of practise I had never seen video of him as of yet. Only photo stills. I have now, for the frist time, heard the voice of my Root Gurue! Thank you for placing this on CZcams :-)
