This is awesome, bro. I'm left handed too but I played a lot of sports right handed. I'm 40 now but I've often thought that I should have been throwing, batting, and shooting basketball lefty. I haven't tried it yet but I plan on it bc I mangled my right hand in a work accident, so if I ever wanna shoot hoops again, it'd HAVE to be left-handed. How did you end up all turned around when you were a kid?

🔥Earned ur 719th Subscriber! hey man i wish the best for you in your basketball journey to the NBA, however i have a question. sometimes when i play basketball against my team during trainings, i feel scared to use my true skills infront of people when they are watching because i think i may fail, what can i do to fix this? also sometimes when dribbling the basketball i lose the ball because it touches my palm and i lose the ball. How can i fix this and what parts of my hands should i use to dribble the basketball?

Tell your fears that you weren’t born with a spirit of fear, but of one of love, power, and a controlled mind. Everyday you work to have a stronger mentality and you build up the confidence of the people around you Bonus: take notes after every training and take notes of the moments you didn’t be your true self and take notes saying the good things you did Dribbling is mainly using your fingertips and not using the middle of your palm. @@SababuJones AY man thanks you soo much, i will keep on practicing ball handling but most importantly your tip of telling me that i should tell myself that i am a confident warrior and was born to be confident/fearless really helped me out in training. the court seemed much larger, i could drive without worrying and my shots were falling as a scored on teammates!

Hey SJ what do you recommend for me to get hops, as much as I wanna get into the gym, I ant old enough and really I have is stairs to do plyos on and just some space to do no weight leg workouts. What really helped you get some bounce?
What's up bro, I've been planning to make a video to answer this with detail. For now though, know you don't need weights at. My dad started training my jumping when i was younger by making me jump as high as I could on every single layup until I was smacking backboard every time. And a lot of calf raises. Until I make the video, I recommend just doing a lot squats, lunges, calf raises and tibia raises pushing hard every rep. And if you have room, go outside or in an area and jump high as you can 5-10 reps then rest. Repeat. Jump squats are good too. Just make sure to get actual jumping in because that's the main goal.

What are some things a can to to go from a center to a guard
Thats a good question. I wish I had more help online and in person to learn this, but I no now how to. I’ll start writing down the script to the video rn 🙏🏾🙏🏾 But for now, 1. watch videos on shooting form and master your form 2. Practice dribbling from the pick and roll (do it simple for now) 3. Work on your quickness & agility 4. Become a knockdown shooter and/or an elite driver & finisher Video coming soon. I’ll show how ⛹🏾♂️

Keep working on the things I said, become great fundamental dribbler (I have a video on my channel for fundamentals), and make sure to get conditioning training at a fast pace because guards do a lot of moving

Hey SJ II. Just wanted to ask you what you did to get better at the age of 14-15. You might’ve been born to ball ( literally ur profile pic lol) but I wasn’t- I’m not tall, ( yet 🙏) I’m not a freak athlete, all I have is good game sense like where and when to pass, etc. Despite this I’m trying. I’m a bench player on the local team, and rn I just wanna improve. Your videos have certainly helped and motivated me, and I can’t wait for the next ones. So yeah, just want some advice from a college veteran ( srry this is looking like an essay). Thanks bro 🏀
Yoo wassup 🙏🏾 I’ll put in a list. What I’d recommend for you 1. Spend A LOT of time working on dribbling moves / triple threat and driving to the basket so you can use your game sense and passing even more and more 2. Learn and love knowing how to score without the ball. Search CZcams “off ball movement” 3. If you’re not as tall yet, get really good at three point shooting catch & shoot and off 1-2 dribbles. If you can’t shoot threes decent yet, master mid range first while working on threes 4. Start strengthening your whole body for athleticism. You’ll be amazed how fast you get stronger. Road to Pro #3 has some exercises you can do with or without weights When I was 14 I mainly worked on my shooting & mid range moves because at that time it was really hard to find basketball workouts and what to do online. Wayyyy more internet information now. Back then if you didn’t money or have a trainer, it was hard to get much advice Hope this helps. If you only do one thing, spend a lot of time dribbling and practicing finishing moves the rim
