Good points. I have to disagree with bent knees though. I love bent knees with bri flips. It makes them look more smooth and natural. Keeping your legs straight looks too stiff with most tricks.

in my opinion, if you can land a trick on a 5 wide you can learn it on a 7 wide. i have a 6.66 inch wide deck and i can bri flat after learning it on a park setup

I had one about a year ago and it was a good deck but the bottom of mine completely caved in only like 2 months of riding it so personally I wouldn’t recommend it

I liked my max peters deck but I wasn’t a fan of the pegs not being flush with the bottom of deck. I’d slip off coping all the time
True. I don’t mind it too much though cuz I like the ability to flip them over as if using a new peg, helps them last longer

What do I have to do to land flat triple whip? I try to do whip, heel, double whip and then triple but I only get it 75%. Need to get it 15% more around and land with both feet. To improve that, I try to double whip catch, latewhip and do some other things like footplant triple.
I recommend after getting them consistently out of banks and kickers, take it a a drop. Having that extra air time while still on flat surfaces will help get the last 15% of the trick around while keeping the feel of doing it flat instead of using transition. Then just take it to smaller and smaller drops until you got it flat. Good luck and hope this helps👍🙏

What an awesome high quality vid! Thanks for the tips, Ill add my own: WARM UP RIGHT BEFORE SENDING with as many similar trick as you can think of in as many similar situations as you can think of, this will ENORMOUSLY help you get both feet on, seriously game changer. For example, i suck at commiting both feet to double whips, so before I send one i do tailwhip flat, tailwhip air, tailwhip a hip, big tailwhip, small tailwhip, super whip, tailwhip off of ledges, tailwhip flyout, late tailwhip, heelwhips galore, ALL of it just to really force that mucle memory of getting both feet in the right spot. Then, off to whatever im trying, be it triple, finger, bar whip, whatever, and even if i was really struggling i can usually land it in less than 3 tries. Its been huge for my progression. You should include this in your next tips video, its seriously a game changer.

I had the 22.5 back in june and I could still do all the same park tricks I could do on a 5 wide. Edit: I lost only one trick

If you want to, go for it! If you’re not sure if it’s too big to balance on then you should ask someone who has a 6 wide to try it, but the weight shouldn’t matter that much
