Thunderhill 3 Mile backwards with bypass, so much fun. 145k miles, completely stock even with the original brake pads from new in 2000! Even the IMA isn't messed with and has a standard size IMA battery. New Kumho TA31s 165/65/14s at 36psi hot when it came in. Ran out of battery assist on the first lap, 94mph front straight speed and around a 2:35 lap time. Only thing done to prevent issues is ...

First time in a 125cc Shifter kart at Sonoma

Thanks to Charlie Hayes Racing for giving me the chance to try out a real shifter kart. So hard to try to keep up with the kart, everything happens so fast. I get more comfortable in the second session but everything is still a blur and impossible for me to get anything correct.

Weirdly two stroke karts optimally run at 120-130f. 140f is dangerous and you should open the radiator block off more, 150f is very dangerous and you should immediately let it cool down.
@@danielsdayoff I would assume that a hot cylinder is just too expanded for the piston and it loses compression but will it also run the risk of piston melting or just also heating so much it seizes? I have an old CR125 shifter kart myself that needs money and tlc when I get some extra :)

How did you get so good at controlling oversteer?
Not as good as I'd like to be but I did some skid pad days. They're helpful for learning car control since you can take it past the limit safely and easily. Karting and just seat time and a natural feeling for the car helps too
Hi old video so i'm not sure if you will respond. Is there a reason why you are shifting around 7000 instead of closer to redline?
I found that the rev limiter is actually right around 7k, like 7.1 or 7.2? Redline on these cars is exaggerated and I shift earlier to keep the momentum, as opposed to hitting the limiter and losing all that acceleration momentum.

Very nice driving. The track is mostly blocked since the camera seems to be placed a bit low. Could you perhaps place the camera an inch or two higher?

Nice lap!, but this is the Bypass, which is about 3 secs faster than the cyclone in a Miata. I'm running RS4's, how do the ECF's compare?
Yeah I'll correct that my bad. Ecfs are faster and wear just as well. I'm at thunderhill right now for the sixth track day and they're still around 4-5/32nds
Chest cams show you nothing but steering wheel. I'd recommend a different setup.
It's a helmet cam right where my mouth is. I can put it above my visor but then it gets in my FOV. You can see plenty of track...

I forget but its one of those magnet ones with a magnet on the mount and one on the back of the phone.

Gave your fist like. Nice but, you should put the cam a bit higher, we can barely see the track currently, hidden by the driving wheel
I'd like to but this is the best spot for the camera without it impeding on my visibility. The gopro is mounted directly below the bottom of my visor. I could try and space it up with some risers but it would be in the way of my view. Not worth it, you can see the track perfectly fine 95% of the time.

FIX: Someone on the Forza Forums told me to check if the update had downloaded, as it seems that's an issue with the Microsoft store. That ended up being the issue. My game update was paused in the downloads/updates section, therefore not allowing the Series 31 to show up.
