    Why are you forcing this bullshit on us. What's wrong with a normal modem? Why does everything have to involve even more data tracking when they already track enough? Whever executive from Alta fiber got the kickback from Google for this needs to have all that money shoved up their ass until they choke on it.

    I go into Advanced Network settings click on enable IPv6 in Google Home, then change the DNS settings to ISP and save. When I get out of Advanced and then come back in IPv6 is not enabled, though the DNS settings are set to ISP.

    Fioptics has done it again. They have taken their service from the worst in southwest Ohio to the worst in the state. I guess now I need to go back to college to learn how all this new stuff works. About all I can say for sure is altafiber is more fucked up than ever!!!

    Don’t even get me started I’ve had DVR Recordings saved since 2018 and I’m highly upset to lose them. I have put up with cincy/alta crap service and high prices currently 303 a month even after I lost showtime (you would’ve thought my bill would decrease/ nope) because I didn’t want to lose my recordings!! Then today this box shows up at my house that says CONGRATULATIONS I GET AN UPGRADE!! Well it’s not really an upgrade if I have no choice and that’s now the only service you offer!! The only good thing about this is now that I have no choice but to lose my recordings I can go to SPECTRUM!!

    Since my husband is the one who signed us up for this new cable/fioptics service (forced to do it by Cincy Bell a couple months ago), I do not know our 13-digit account number so don't ask for it. Just please tell me two things: How do I clear the Delete Recordings cache on my altafiber/fiberoptics TV? and Do the deleted recordings add to my percentage when it says 97% full? My previous service kept WAAAAAAAYYY more of my recordings - and for a longer time period - than this one does. I watch my shows constantly (and DVR 4 childrens' show for my grandkids) and I never seem to lower that percentage. I've never seen the 'yellow dot' that threatens to delete any of my so-called 'older' programs. What's up with that anyway? I had shows saved since 2017 on our previous Cincy service - favorite documentaries I wanted to view several times, and children's educational shows (taped for an older sibling) that might have been "over the head" of a 3-year-old but as he's gotten older, they're perfect for him as a 7-year old. And I HATED losing all those programs when we were forced to change to altafiber. GRRRRRRRR!

    The previous system was so much better and it was so easy to access. Always having trouble losing content what a mess no instructions what we have instructions are incorrect. It doesn’t work pain in the ass.

    since we were forced into this change to google, was hoping that it would get us back Showtime/Smithsonian but nope. Still paying the same price for less channels since Jan when they dropped SHO. Now if I want those channels, guess what ? Gotta pay more to stream. Also this self install kit lacked the parts to get anymore than the 1 set top box working, forced me to go and figure out I need a network switch to make the 2nd TV work... not very happy about how this was done

    The fioptics plus service is trash. It is 720p which is the same as it was 15 years ago. Most other streaming services like CZcams TV and hulu stream at least some channels in 4k. They are also cheaper by about 50% so there is no reason to have altafiber tv service.

    So I am going to pay extra each month, I have to install my new equipment and then I have to return the old equipment or be charged. Does anyone besides me think this is ridiculous? And who is going to teach us how to use it? Me, that's what I thought. Great customer service.

    This is ridiculously too complicated for the older generations. Being able to click record and record an entire series was so much easier. Now I’m going to have to teach my parents how to use this and I’m not even sure I know how!
