Hey Calder, leuke video. Wanneer komen er video's met Siem op jullie gezamenlijke kanaal?

Top tip.... never cut from the rim to the hole you cut like you did in the video, always cut from the hole out, (I've made literally thousands of yarnbowls) inside of the curl first, then outside. But reserve the third of the curl from the rim and pop it back in to help the curl dry in place (remove before firing of course!) and reduce warping and slumping during the glaze fire. Also restrict the curl to the top half or third of the bowl so there's less weight in the curl during the glaze fire. And finally, always try to make them bottom heavy. It's an asset.

Might I suggest when tipping out a rim in addition to squeegeeing and perhaps the heat gun in necessary, slow the wheel down significantly . Cute and a nice idea but also perhaps not also the ideal shape for the majority of birds. The Autobon Societies or other bird research organizations can best explain bath proportion’s. As for bird bath hight 1” tall at rim and not over 2” in the center. Shallower and wider would perhaps be more deal. If a bird bath is in an area with freeze thaw’s that might not be taken inside then even empty the type properties and formulation of the clay body and glaze need to be considered. Keep up the good work and keep the video’s coming.
