you dont need to put the cuttings in water to see the root buds. just look at the underside of a healthy vine, and you'll see dark nodules at a segment joint, they are what become water roots , or stabilizer roots, or stay root buds, depending on their proximity to soil/water. if you have a vine which grows near the soil, you'll know what i mean by stabilizer roots, they usually come down in 2's, and are rigid

Where are you??? What climate? Im assuming it affects what potting souil suits your hoya. Also are you growing them inside?

Hi. I have been growing an anthurium in the same pot for about 4 years. This plant used to flower in my old house where it lived in a window that was north facing with little to no direct sun. It has grown quite a bit and has not bloomed in my new home. It probably needs a larger pot. However, I don't really want to repot it because it would require too large a pot. Is there a safe method for cutting away stems/bundles of the plant and then to repot the plant into the same pot? Any guidance you can offer would be great. Thank you.

Is this enough light for them? I have a young phenomenal store bought lavender and a young true english lavender I grew from seed.

Mine grows horizontally. Currently outdoors for the summer and is deep reddish purple. Accidentally broke a piece of off and stuck it into a pot after several days lying on top to callous over. It now has developed roots and is doing great. ❤

My favorite plant. It's not easy to find, but I got lucky and found a small pot at a nursery 5 years ago. So cool seeing one that grows vertically! My plant lays 'flat' and grows horizontally.

if your wandering jew has thin leaves, youre growing it wrong. its leaves should be not thick like a succulent, but not thin either, slightly thick, like an 8th to 16th inch or so. i do full summer day direct sunlight, it will wash out the deeper purples if you give it more than 12hrs a day, but it still has those deep purple leaves, but the upper leaves will gain a water melon looking leaf and its beautiful. it never turns them brown where i live.

Hello I have this plant too and when I bought it, it was biig(each leaf about the size of a hand) but it started getting small and smaller! After two or three years, its leaves became tiny (each leaf about 2 cm). What should i do?

Mine were perfect even after repottin!!! Then like two weeks later there not lush, the stems are feeling woody but it’s also so hot here! It gets a ton of full on sunlight.
