    Shrek jaegers feel terrible atm. Their long range accuracy is so bad that they just get kited to death by the light vehicles they're supposed to be countering and late game they get shredded by medium + heavy tanks that they can't reliably penetrate anyway. They did absolutely nothing this game

    Hey TR, what's your opinion on Stoss with STG's, they seem like a squishier alternative to the pgren with like twice the DPS (without toggling their extra damage and immunity to suppression ability). Or is there too much delay and/or overlap with the pgrens in that case?

      STG stoss are garbage IMO. Stoss are too squishy to close into CQB reliably especially when they're arriving in lategame with tanks everywhere. Matildas and Grants delete them before they can get close. Also their Vet1 ability doesn't synergise with STGs because it kills their movement speed which they need to close in, whereas un-upgraded Stoss can just sit in an MGs arc at max range and shred it. The value of Stoss lies in their ability to bleed MP from long range and carefully merging and healing them with Grens. Hopefully the upcoming TTK changes makes them more viable

    4 Command Points ... scares me a little (Wirbelwind + Jager calls). There is a risk that the opponent avoids you during the "early game", or chooses a MG in his BO... In this case, you can only have 4 command points around 11 min. Also, it is common for the British to choose the Boys on his rifles, and a "fast" Humbers/ Stuarts. In this case, the PaK, which protects you, fixes you in front of your base. This leaves a lot of fuel and Tickets, and your tanks could arrive too late, or never. It’s a good BO, but it could derail against some British opponents, with a different style of play. On the other hand, against the US, (later vehicle timing), I approve 100%!!

      Yeah MGs can slow down the accumulation of CPs, light vehicles from the enemy will probably speed them up though.

    Scott should be redesign to be something like mini priest because usf lacks in arty department. That unit is dead in meta because buldozer have similar role but do it better.

    Hello Tightrope ! Thanks you for the cast. Semois is an old map, already on CoH2. It is a tactical map. The key of this map is the house on left flank. At same level, the player, who keep the control of this house, go to win on Semois. The reason is simple : - South side prevents left flank attack on center, and can cut everytime north heavy resources. So South side can work on the center, and some time, cut right flank. - North side saves his main resources and forces South side to fight on the center. If North side win center battle, North side can close the "way back up" South side. So South Side must be impale on the front of his main base, or travel far away on right side ... too far away ... on bottleneck. And if he arrive on the center, his "back up' unit do that on the center, where you are ... . After you have loose your army, you have rebuild and move to take the control of the left side. Just after that, you opponent was trap on center, and you have retake easily map control. But When you stayed on the center and left the left side, you gonna to loose the control of the fight again. On CoH2, it was the same things. Semois is a very special map. Left side is the most important side. Center after. The right side only comes if you outperform your opponent.🧐

    ASC and Scotts both suck hard. Only way to play US is with ISC, and maybe mechanized like 10% of the time, soley for the 76mm. But if you are going to do that its just better to pick armored battlegroup for EZ8, lol. They should honestly rework and REBALANCE the support centers again. But I know people would just complain of ASC was good again. I would also love to see Scotts become more of an arty unit. They are in a really weird spot with such short range

    Tightrope, you may have already thought about it, but a anti tank bomber at 30:07 against the three clumped, engine damage p4 would have ended the game... sad to see you didnt use that or the anti infantry strafe. Therre were a lot of opportunities. Why go ASC and gimp yourself from ISC if the only reason you take it is for recon?

      This is the first time I have used ASC in a long time so it isn't front of mind. When you get into a fight like that it is incredibly stressful. I didn't even have enough munitions to upgrade my rifles with their second BAR. Calling in strafes that are pretty easy to dodge is low on the priority list.

    Hi rope, I respect that you always try something new and off meta but this game was way too chaotic. 24th minute bar with that late med tent was pure inf. handicap for you and then the air support was totally useless because you had no ammo for the attacking raids. Also, I guess you decided to go for the scots pre-game because there was no reason to call them vs no support weapons in your opponents army while their anti inf is average and an MG would have done better job. Nevertheless a great close game!

    Could a 221 shut down aussies early since they have no AT option? I still find wehr luftwaffe bizarre. Its like "hey get a 221 for an insane 25 fuel OR wait 2-3 minutes and get a werbel that's basically better at everything. 221 should be 15-20 fuel or have 360 health to survive 2 AT shots. Otherwise it's barely better than a jeep

      LW has such a weird mix of units. PGren is an understandable roster of stuff that synergizes well: pak for AT, since you have immobile at, you want to counter the indirect that counters you: so there's the nebel. It also works nice on the offense, supporting pgrens. Stug is a decent stopgap option for any playstyle, but more importantly it provides solid at presence at the time it arrives, which allows you to invest more into pgrens, as it covers for their lack of snares. On the other hand: LW. Jagers are a defensive unit, so you'd think this is the building that gets the PaK to work alongside. It is not. Marder arrives too late, and only if you comfortably hold the fuel, in which case you want something else. Wirbel, while solid on its own, is purely offensive, which means it would synergize well with pgrens, but its stuck with ass jagers instead. I think it would make more sense to make PG an offensive choice, and LW a defensive one. Which means PG gets: Pgrens, 221, wirbel, marder(glass cannon protected by strong offensive elements). LW gets jagers, halftrack, stug(needs tougher mobile AT due to the lack of punching power to protect). Nebel and PaK become universal, available from tier 1 once either tier 2 is built.

    In the early game when tightrope was wondering weather to tech up or get a sniper etc... I personally would go with 1 or 2 more SSF squad. A 1000 mp buffers means you got space. Vs dak they seem like the perfect unit honestly. They counter everything up to the P3. (including it too as a soft counter) What do you guys think

    Hello Tightrope ! Thanks you for this exchange ! 😉 I understand what you want do like this. I think it is a bad surprise for DAK (late Mortar, and low armor vehicule for us). And, vs WM, you use a pretty smart answer to T3 units, and "classic" T4 units. Delirious had just "no chance" to win like that. Well, i do not play with DAK. So i don't know if a tactic can counter your plans with this BO. But, with WM, i have already play this opening and i had taken an easy win in 24min (abandonment of the opponent, 250 tickets for me, 109 tickets for him). This tactic can go to a "car crash" if WM use T2 option + Tank doc like that (with a good skill of course) : - Early game : motocycle + MG + Grenadier (x3) + T2 - Middle Game : Jager (PzSchreck) + T1 Vet + Jager (G43) + T2 Vet + Jager (G43) + 8 Rad + MG + T4 - Late Game : Panther + Panther + Vet T4. With your tactic, the game become impossible after the last Jager appears. Greyhound cannot really make damage because he fight vs 3 Panzerfaust and 1 PanzerSchreck when he arrive on the battle. 3 SSF Commando + 2 MG + Captain + Greyhound, at the end of middle game (~14min), cannot match 3 Grenadiers + 3 Jagers + MG + 8 Rad on flank. The DPS of Jager on the way out camo is just too heavy on first 5s. Jager can show with flare to prevent trap's MG, and smoke to change the battle's ratio forces on engagment. And 8 Rad flanking job on the map, with smoke to retreat, bring stress and punish move for alone units. When late game arrive ~16-17min, the first Panther come. And, here, this is very bad surprise for SSF Commandos ... Their Bazooka cannot percing the armor at middle and long range. At this time, with the upgrade life infantry choice, you cannot do something vs Panther (not enough fuel for T4). ATGun is the better choice, but there are too many Jager with theirs smokes. Heavy damages will come... on every fight ... Late Hellcat cannot match all of that ! At ~ 25 min, the US game is over. To prevent these problems, i will change slightly your early game opening, like that : - Early game : Call M29 Weasel + Engineer + T1 + 3 Fusiliers (or 2 + Mortar) + Captain ... And When M29 obtain Vet1 in the middle of early game on this BO, M29 give MG, taken by scout or engineer !!! 🧐(1 or 2 like you want). - Middle game and late game : same BO So you use every time your Manpower Income, without hole on the end of early game. Your frontline battle go to be great and strong earlier. And Sticky bomb prevent an assault vehicule/tank. With this strong frontline, no needed upgrade life early. This fuel can be allow a T4, ~ 17min, and Hellcats if Panthers appears in same time. With sticky bomb, you have a good chance to stuck opponent vehicule/Tank, and, of course, a good chance to attack on flank or rear.

      It needs something to encourage you to use it vs units on the field, rather than just blasting your opponents base.

    What are your thoughts on Zoom upgrade timings? I love getting it, but Idk effective timings for it between the axis factions.

      I'm guessing you meant zook. With this build if you aren't planning on getting tank depot, get it after the infantry reinforce cost reduction upgrade, before the first calliope. Probably around the 12-15 minute mark.

    Love this build been doing something similar but with the Mechanized Support Center and early quad the build tightrope used to do !!

    1v1 caches arent insane when you're floating nigh 800-1200mp bud. Hell at that point grab a zook squad/57mm and another SSF squad and a cache. Tunnel vision self handicap

      I've noticed that tightrope tends to float a lot in these FPVs, thing is though while I'm the type to utilize MP as soon as possible to get the biggest advantage, tightrope is the type to focus more on the battle and his build. It leads to him winning a lot of games I might lose because although I am being efficient with resources, I give myself more to manage and deal along with my build ideas and counters, not even mentioning building defenses/mines or setting up strategic plans.

      Yeah a fuel cache would have been OK. I think my feelings on how much I should be bleeding are thrown off when I have those 25% discounts. But generally if I'm at around 80 pop and winning I feel less pressure to push out a unit.
