I don't remember him without a beard. I almost didn't recognize him or Joan,at their wedding. I think,for many he will always be remember as Teddy Pendergras,and nothing negative. But he did change after his Tragic accident. His songs,have become more legendary, after his death and IT is so great to know his name will also be remembered. Although, she has a foundation for Teddy Pendergrass, she is benefiting. I hope his children are receiving their royalties as his heirs Actually, the film was his play- daughter's inspiration, but she wasn't allowed to produce it. EVERYONE, SHOULD WATCH THE INTERVIEW,WITH KAREN PENDERGRAS, HIS FIRST WIFE, WITH LORI LORIAN. KAREN JUST TELLS THE TRUTH!!!! Joan,wasn't with Teddy, during his initial recuperation. was that a dig towards KAREN at the end. The song, I am who I am,was dedicated to KAREN, his first wife.

How do I contact Brenda? I am the woman to whom her book was dedicated and my character was somewhat represented throughout the book. Somehow, we've lost touch and I am really needing to reconnect with her to update her on family "goings on" .. I hate that we have not spoken in a few years and would like to remedy this. I was thrilled when I found the 1972 RS cover story while I was visiting in London. I carried a record player and a slew of records in 4 countries, including Killer. Unfortunately there was no AC tour of the UK at that time, but I did see Faces, T Rex, and the MC5. I didn't see AC until the next year in the US.
