What foot pedal system did you use?
@@tr889 the Nucanoe EPS system for the U10 and unlimited, only difference between the unlimited and U10 is the cable length but the foot steering and motor mount is the same.
@@ItsDLCthanks, I don't think I can figure out how you wired the motor though....seems complicated
@@tr889 minnkota Traxxis control board and I extended the potentiometer and put a safety kill switch on the white potentiometer wire if I remember correctly. Look up ( PWM Trolling Motor) in the CZcams search bar, is some good videos that explains how to do it. It seems really complicated at first but it isn't bad once you get to understanding it.

What type of trolling motor do you have? Are you liking the U10? I was thinking of getting one
55 lb thrust minnkota, every minnkota I get is out of balance and not nearly worth what they charge, minnkota kinda sucks. The U10 is awesome, it's a great kayak and I'm very happy with it.

Yes. The GoPro is sitting right onto the scope.
That one reminded me one a bull head. No matter how careful I was I would also get stuck in the hand by that back fin.
Those little ones are awful, those fin barbs are sharp, they stick me all the time.
Are some of those Bull head catfish?
No I haven't caught any bullheads in WV yet, I hear they are around.

I didn't care much for the F10 either. U10 is extremely stable. Hard to beat a Flint.

Amped Outdoors 100ah lifepo4 battery with an Amped Outdoors 10ah battery charger. I've never run out of power, The furthest I've gone is 21 miles in one day and the battery was still working.

another kayak? What make and model is this one? lol Wish I was smaller so I could be more comfortable on one. I settled for a sea eagle 285. inflatable. Get my numbers painted on and get over this flu feeling I will be hitting the water.

I'm in the 2022 Nucanoe Flint, bought it new from the local dealer for $999.00 Running a 40 lb minnkota on the Nucanoe EPS mounts with foot steering and a minnkota speed control with Amped Outdoors 100ah battery. Just recently added the gear pod up front. I'd like to eventually get a Nucanoe Unlimited and a trailer but I don't see it happening anytime soon.
@ItsDLC I like the placement of that fish finder. Keeps everything inside in case you thru some brush. I'm starting cheap and small. 100 Amp Dakota lithium battery was more then my boat. Lol. But at least it and trolling motor I can switch from boat to boat. See how the next couple years go I wanna work up to a small Jon boat.

I didn't have any problems with it. I just recently purchased a Nucanoe gear pod and am in the process of switching livescope into the gearpod.
Those are creepy. Came across my first one this summer in a trout's mouth.
