2024 Thruxton F4 car Flips into catch fencing

Team mates get together causing a car to flip at the exit of the Club chicane at Thruxton into the catch fencing. The driver albeit trapped temporarily was okay it could have been a lot worse without the fencing and indeed Halo.

For the Final British Truck Race of the Year Tom O'Rourke and Steven Powell get together leaving Simon Reid nowhere to go taking a wild ride into the fencing on the exit of Paddock Hill bend with the truck wedged over the barrier. Nobody was injured in what was another big crash for the trucks

First Lap of the Castle Combe Saloons at Quarry Corner, a car has broken steering, Tony Dolley in his SEAT Leon unfortunately clips the other car and ends up being launched into a roll. Two other cars did very well to check up. Tony got out of the car unaided.

Jochen Rindt Trophy Race Saturday First Lap collision between two cars at the Club Chicane at Thruxton results in a spectacular roll over. Thankfully the driver walked away uninjured and got the car back out. It had to happen on the 50th Anniversary

In race 1 of the Castle Combe Hot Hatch a car loses control after Avon Rise on the grass on the right coming into Quarry and clatters into the barriers ending up in an undignified position. The driver was okay and the car was able to race again.

Car comes through Paddock, gets a twitch and tries to correct it but the car has multiple rolls. Fortunately the driver was able to emerge from the car okay despite being bruised and shaken - just goes to show the strength of the cars and the safety

Hi Anton Severinsson, Happy for you to use this clip in the crash providing you credit me. Not a problem. For awareness on a different topic there was a nasty crash at Combe a few weeks ago involving an Audi with brake failure. I had checked with the driver about photos and footage as did someone else who asked not to post anything, however others didn't check and did post it. Seeing it in person, it was not a good accident. If there is anything else you would like, please do not hesitate to ask.

@@CirciutKings The great news she was okay and uninjured. I'd messaged her dad on the day and he replied which was quite a relief because he was replying to me meant she was okay. I also got the full lowdown. Sadly the car is a write off and if I'm honest (this might sound silly) its the first time where I have seen an accident where a car has been in that state which was actually quite upsetting.
This shows the incompetence at a level not seen before in motorsports in track management, how about you change the track morons, this is not the first time I have seen an incident like this at this corner, your placing drivers lives at risk due to your incompetence, and it's on show every time, for all of us to see and witness.
No circuits have catch fencing any more.

Disgusting use of track management. Them curbs are lethal enough.... i gather you need to monitor and prevent limits but not penalise mistakes like this. If the guy had been hit in the door while rolling or the roof id imagine the outcome would be loads different. On a Major weekend also at the highest level of British motorsport...
Back in the day it was self policing, the curbs were so high that you didn’t dare try to cut them (but you could straight line them if needed, it would just slow you down a lot) so there was no need for big bundles of tyres blocking the view of the apex.
@@testpilotian3188 Used to be brilliant at removing the sumps off clio cup cars the old curbs were. Removed I believe in the end due to bikers. Same with the one at the last chicane at Donington. Now funnily enough we are running round in circles trying to find a new solution, none of which seems to work

In a car race when a car hits the barrier, bumper gets destroyed. In a truck race when a truck hits the barrier, the barrier gets destroted.

One of the biggest I have seen as a spectator. Does beg the question about Truck Racing with some accidents we have seen. Fortunately nobody has been injured
