Can the deck be shuffled before the effect by the spectator ie. can you perform this from a shuffled deck in use?

Ramon Rioboo passed away in 2021. This trick is based on “The Black-Hole Principle,” When card is removed from a particular stack, you know about the characteristics of other cards at certain positions.

This is great. Amazing how the spectator never tells you either number.

hello i don't have the source. i am sure the trick base on some math formula, but cause i try some possibilities i think that the perform show us a unique terms that have to change from perform to perform cause if a " smart " spectator will choose numbers close to the edges for example like 30 ( 15-30 ) in the first count and 31 ( 30-45 ) in the second count, the trick will not work.

Definitely “The Exception” !!!! This trick fooled me so badly. I spent about four weeks on and off trying to crack it with no avail. It’s an exceptional fooling card trick with lots more potential making it more fooling than it already is. The Unnamed Magician is definitely on top of the game with this ingenious gem. hello. in the second count when the spectator counts to his number, are the performer with his back turn or face the spectator? in other words, do the performer know the number that the sprctator choose in the beginning ? if the answer to that is yes, its very easy to solve the trick.
