All Omega-3s Are Not Created Equal!
Confused about omega-3 supplements? In this eye-opening video, we dive deep into the world of omega-3s to uncover why not all supplements are the same and how they impact your health differently!
Did you know that your body can’t make the essential omega-3 fatty acid ALA (alpha-linolenic acid) on its own? Instead, we need to get it through our diet or supplements, and our body converts ALA into other important omega-3s: EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). But here's the catch - different foods and supplements have varying ratios of these omega-3s, and this can significantly affect your health.
In this video, we cover:
• The role of EPA and DHA in cell membrane function and overall health
• How different ratios of EPA to DHA influence inflammation, cardiovascular health, and more
• The surprising findings from recent studies on omega-3 supplementation and heart disease
• Tips for finding the optimal EPA to DHA ratio for your specific health needs
Whether you’re considering omega-3 supplements or just want to optimize your diet, this video is a must-watch. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and click the bell icon for more health insights!

*MR OBALAR* ON CZcams CURED ME TOTALLY ❤❤..
I was just sent away from a CT scan appointment because that one surgeon decided my symptoms are not typical. This is despite other surgeons having asked for this scan being done. I hate the nhs..I knew straight away he was going to be dismissive the moment he walked into the room as I'm used to this sort of response any time I am ill. I have a diagnosis of bpd. It's not like I bother the Dr unless I'm in real pain. This last Dr wants stool samples and from there maybe a scope. Seems kinda dangerous not to just rule out the appendix at this point
I’m grateful for wellbutrin. It worked wonders for me.
What did I do to you?
Ive had scabies for 7 or 8 yrs now but the last 2yrs unbearable
These pills are laced with madness. They are generic and who knows wtf is in them. Poison.
Like a lot of drugs it’s hit or miss. I’ve had spinal fusion for s1/l5/l4and now a deterioration in my l4/l3. As before I started Gabapentin at 150mg and have an immediate relief. If it comes to it we will increase to 300. Pre fusion I was taking 300mg. Everyone should at least try it and see how they respond to it
I have sinusitis. My face nerve teeth, neck ,head nerve. Hand and back side pain. Day by day is increasing. Nose dry. No running nose only dry.. i think i will die . Doctor only prescribe antibiotics. I can't understand what i should to do
I turned into a fat slob when I tried to quit bupropion. I had no impulse control. Gained 20 pounds in a month.
I also have mgus from myeloma.
Dr kevin. I was exposed to PCBTF last year through direct skin contact. I have symptoms possibly due to it. I was wondering about if it caused anything healthwise or any damage. Is there anyway for the body to heal from the effects?
Our bodies have a remarkable ability to heal from many illnesses, so it is always possible that you will recover from your symptoms. However, you cannot be sure your symptoms are stemming from the exposure. I would recommend a full and thorough medical evaluation befor you draw any conclusions. It is always better to rule out other more common causes for your symptoms first. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
I had a heart attack in May when I was in hospital it went down to just 30% when I left hospital about six weeks ago it was 39%. I had a echocardiogram a week ago it was back up to 59% 😃
Congratulations, that is a remarkable and inspiring account of how your heart has recovered. It can provide inspiration to countless people around the world. I invite you to visit my website at “drloweonline.org” and share your experience on the “Join The Conversation “ page. I wish you continued health. Thank you for sharing.
How do you detox?
Unfortunately, there is still no way to rid the body of PFAS. Avoidance is the only way to prevent contamination. Thanks for watching.
Gabapentin help me with my sciatic
Yes, Gabapentin is effective at providing relief for sciatica. I'm glad to hear of your success. Thank you for sharing.
I have been on wellbutrin for a month and have a buzzing in my head that I don't think will go away even if I stop taking it. the medicine. is there any hope
Please discuss any side effects you are having with your prescribing doctor ASAP. Only they can advise you on your medication. I hope you feel better soon.
How do we get our electrolytes on dash diet
We get our electrolytes from the meat and vegetables that we eat. Vegetables are high in electrolytes and minerals, as is meat. Chicken is high in potassium. Thanks for watching.

@jamescorsey6041 you are welcome
I had sinus problems since 8 years and then 2 years ago migraine was started now im suffering very severely with daly frequent migraines and now i have dizziness body pains neck pain vertigo symptoms ears pain so i have a question dose sinusitis really cause migraine and my present symptoms dizziness vertigo symptoms like lose of balance neck pain body pains these are all migraine related or not ? Please answer my questions and would you give some advice to manage my migraine 😢
Hello, sinusitis does not cause migraine headaches. Migraines are vascular headaches. Sinusitin can however cause headaches of a different kind. Pain can appear in different parts of the head depending on which sinuses are infected, and occasionally they can be accompanied by constitutional symptoms. You would be best served by seeing a medical professional at your earliest convenience. Thank you for watching.
I gotta comment, I try atleast. The man is right, Its very, very hard to stop juse Bupropion, I had it once about adhd symptoms. Some professional docktor told me lately it doesn't help adhd. I was quite shoked hearing about that. But it did help alot at first! then, I belive it didnt work anymore after many years went by. But I cant stop just now, or else I become darkwater". . Oh my. . Im stuck now even for slightest dose but it (Bupropion) has still dangled my brainsystem. I need my pills, seems that at the moment atleast I cant help myself. Thats the worst thing you can have with this medication. 😢 Beware!
I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you are working closely with your doctor to find a solution. Thanks for sharing.
umm what drug isn't harmful when abused? This isn't the dark side of bupropion. It's the dark side of human stupidity.
How can you tell the difference if you have scabies or dermatosis (Dermodex brevis)? They look fairly similar.
Hello, to differentiate between the two, your doctor can take a scraping from the skin and perform a microscopic examination searching for the mites. They differ in shape and size. Thank you for watching.
One of my friends experienced increased irritability and impatience after taking a certain medication, causing him to smoke more cigarettes. After stopping the medication, he returned to smoking at a normal rate, but not as much as when he was on the medication. So, be cautious.
Thank you for sharing. I hope ypur friend is able to stop smoking completely sometime in the future.
Really detailed video explained well. Can Pancreatitis start slowly and build to an acute flair? I have had pain in that region for over 12 months that has been mild - moderate and is now getting worse.
Thank you for your expression of appreciation for the video. Pancreatitis can certainly develop slowly, although in such cases it is classified as chronic pancreatitis. Thank you for watching.
Im just getting worse and worse on it i think, went up to 300xr and its just msking me worse
Hello, all matters regarding the medication you are taking are best discussed with your prescribing doctor. It is best to discuss these matters as soon as possible to avoid adverse effects. Your doctor will be able to help you, but you have to inform them of what you are experiencing. Thank you for watching.
My husband had an ejection fraction of 15 to 19 thanks to entresto and or jaudiance it's now 30 to 35.but now we have another problem the doctor thinks he has aneurysm of the stomach . He's having a ultrasound sound on monday . Not that's the only problem he had a heart attack 23 years ago they put a defiberaltor in him and open heart surgery 3 shock treatment too. Also he's a diabetic and thyroid problem. Plus an ablation. Has a pig valve in too.i probably missed something.
Hello, with a low ejection fraction, your husband has heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. In the condition described in the video, the ejection fraction is normal. The two conditions have different causes; so that the conditions that commonly occur with either are also different. I wish your husband all the best with his test and a speedy recovery. Thanks for sharing.
I have back and neck pain, started out of nowhere, what could this be?
I always recommend you see your personal doctor for any complaints you have and not try to self diagnose. Your doctor knows your situation best. Thank you for watching.
It helped me with anxiety, but it made me not care about anything. I'm now slowly reducing the amount. I'm trying to get a balance.
I am glad to hear you were helped by the medication. Remember that you should only change your dose under the supervision of your doctor. I wish you the best. Thanks for watching.
I was on for 4 months and I felt like that where I didn’t care about anything or anyone. What happened after that on your experience? I plan on going back to start.
@@young_ceo7639 I contacted my doctor and reduced it by half. Im trying to take just enough to calm anxiety and not be a zombie.
I’m the opposite I have reduced ejection fraction-25%- yet I have no symptoms , no breathlessness, no swelling etc - I do have permanent Afib which I also had no symptoms of - and not discovered wth my Apple Watch
Occasionally, especially in the early stages, symptoms may only manifest with physical exertion. Climbing one or two flights of stairs for example. Continue to follow the treatment recommendations of your doctor. Thanks for watching. Thanks for sharing.
@@DrKevinLowe no don’t have any with physical exertion either -lift weights - heavy - 4x a week and cardio most days
Hello, it is possible to have pre-heart failure classified as ACC stage b heart failure which is characterized by cardiac abnormalities without symptoms. It is also possible to have a poorly done echo that mischaracterizes your heart function. Has your doctor considered a MUGA scan?
@@DrKevinLowe I’m in New Zealand - I’m not sure what a Muga scan is but I haven’t been offered any type of scan - only had 2 echocardiograms.
Hello, a MUGA scan is a nuclear test that calculates the ejection fraction. A cardiac MRI may even be more accurate. Here is a link to an explanation of the MUGA scan: my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diagnostics/17247-multigated-acquisition-scan-muga.
🎉❤ some good news about shingles what we need here is Solutions instead of diatribes about the horrors of it here's a solution get yourself some BHT 1/4 of a teaspoon to 1 teaspoon depending on your size dissolve that and warm to coconut oil a couple of tablespoons take that several times a day and maybe once at night. This dissolves the casing and the protective coating around the viruses so that they can't continue. Also if you already have it and you have itchiness use apple cider vinegar on the rash and it stings like crazy for three or four minutes but then it takes the itching out for a good long time so these are some very viable Solutions❤❤
These meds are wonderful for people suffering from true clinical depression. However, the sub clinical depression people have a more difficult time. It does lift the symptoms except it leaves one emotionally flat. No highs or lows just a monotone.
That is interesting to know. Have other users experienced the same thing? Thank you for sharing your experiences. Thank you for watching.
Thanks for your useful information doctor.
You are very welcome. Thank you for watching.
I have combined type ADHD and I have tried other ADHD meds and Wellbutrin XL has been the only one that have helped me with my ADHD symptoms. The only side effect I have been experiencing is a little bit of hair loss.
I’m glad to hear that you were able to get relief with Wellbutrin. Hair loss is a rarely reported side effect. According to some investigators, it is temporary. Thanks for sharing.
I having it right now, IT HURTS AND IT SUCKS
I was having this problem for years but I didn’t find this out until I had my car accident and I was constantly always chilly at the hospital they did routine blood work and the Doctor Asked do you have frequent diarrhea and feeling always cold and I said yes he said when I ran your lab work your Thyroid levels are extremely low
Yes, you are right. Both hyper and hypothyroidism can cause diarrhea. Diarrhea in hypothyroidism is usually caused by bacterial overgrowth as a result of the slowing down of the bowel motion in hyperthyroidism. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for watching.
Ive been symptomatic for years and then finally had an ERCP before a correct diagnosis which then led to a pancreatic bypass with a lot of cutting of the pancreas. HLA-B27 antigen will give you close to normal blood results. Blood tests must be read carefully by a committed gastroenterologist who listens and is serious about your condition. The extreme ends of normal limits matter. Especially in chronic conditions and people with comorbidities So bilirubin can be on the low level like .2 but then find you platelets at the very lowest number within range and your ast or alt is at the highest point of within normal limits range. A slow meticulous review of your bloodwork is necessary. Be your own advocate and do diligence Especially when you know know know something’s wrong. Just prior to having pancreatic surgery I also had a “normal” CT scan. Keep going to find someone to listen to you!!!!! If you KNOW something is wrong. Don’t let someone tell you nothing is wrong. I’ve had a to kiss a lot of frog-doctors to find my prince-doctor. YOU KNOW YOUR BODY! Bless and good luck
I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you had. I’m glad to hear you were finally able to get an accurate diagnosis. Sharing this information with other viewers is very useful and I’m sure they appreciate it. Thank you. I wish you continued health in the future.
Guys, watch the 700 Club. You can look them up on CZcams. They pray for supernatural healing by the spirit of God. Jesus heals all. It will be okay.
Well my husband def has been left with complications thanks to A&E not emphasising the importance of seeking early medication for this and sent him home with some pain killers. It was our local spec savers that sent him to emergency Ophthalmology clinic that diagnosed shingles and gave him Aciclovir and a thorough eye checkup which luckily was all clear. It would seem by what is being said in this video he has now been left with PHN , Its been a month since rash showed and almost gone but his now been left in constant pain with really terrible attacks today 3 times so far. on side of his face over his eye lid and puffiness under his eye, Is there any hope of a complete recovery or is this his life from now on. Its left him very depressed and doesn't know how much more he can stand of the pain. He cant drive, do any gardening, cant get our shopping. Luckily we have good family to help.
Hello, I’m sorry to hear of your husband’s continued pain. It is still very likely that he will experience continued improvement over the next 6 months, which may even culminate in complete resolution. Was he vaccinated against herpes zoster? Even after a bout of shingles the vaccine is still helpful. How much and how soon he will recover is anybody’s guess. Treatment options in the meanwhile are available and can be very effective. Discuss with your doctor what treatment options they recommend. He can still recover substantially. Thanks for sharing. Thank you for watching.
Dr Lowe if you've had mite infestation for almost a year, can you give step by step instructions to do to not get reinfected. You said to bag up laundry and bedding for seven days. Then what is the best treatment?
Hello, unfortunately I cannot give medical advice on this channel. We endeavor only to provide medical information. That having been said, it is best to have a professional exterminating service evaluate your particular situation and circumstances and provide expert advice. They may want to focus on bedding, furniture, couches, curtains, carpets, laundry areas etc. I believe a good exterminating service can provide a tailored plan of action that guarantees success. Thank you for watching. Thank you for sharing.
Excellently presented and very, very educational. Am on my fourth week and am definitely beginning to have less pain and I am so grateful! Best of luck!
Thank you so much. I’m glad you liked it and found it useful. I wish you continued success with your treatment.
Good luck getting a doctor that will help you get rid of it because I come up against doctors that won't give you consistent medication to get rid of it
Me
Day 1 on bupropion I feel super agitated and angry. I’m worried
I have been taking this drug since 2020, this last year I was also prescribed phentermine. I seriously went into psychosis and became extremely paranoid, I quit both drugs and my Anxiety has ceased and I’m just now starting to think right again.. be careful while taking any prescribed medication.
Thank you for sharing. I am glad to hear you are doing better now.
Don't forget the kind brought on by medications, and don't forget BILIRUBIN
Yes you are correct. There are medications that can cause pancreatitis. Two common medications that cause pancreatitis are the antibiotics tetracycline and bactrim. Pancreatitis can certainly be accompanied by elevated bilirubin which derives from stones blocking the bile duct or swelling in the pancreas causing the same. Thank you for bringing that to our attention. Thank you for watching.
Pictures of impetigo on face cheeks
If you're prone to addiction, don't take Wellbutrin. Someone should tell smokers this.
Thank you for making that point. Thanks for watching.
Gabapentin did not work for me. After reading about this drug glad I go off
I have eaten bupropion for a few years now and it totally saved my libido that my ssri were killing. But.. Is there any connection between bupropion and hair loss? Because I'm losing so much hair! I feel so torn because bupropion have made me feel more human, but I don't want to lose more hair..
Hello, I am happy to hear how well bupropion worked for you. Hair loss is a recognized but rare side effect of bupropion. Some sources claim it is temporary, but I cannot vouch for that. You should discuss the hair loss with your doctor. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for watching.
I was given thyroxine sodium 75mcg by doctor for my tsh 11.90. But in 1.5 month of taking medicine i loose 6-7 kg weight with diaherrea. I tested tsh again and now its 0.52. I stopped medication from 1.5 week but still losing weight. As the tsh range is slightly near normal level. Should i take hyperthyroidism medicine or the weight loss will stop after 1-2 week? Please guide me
The most important thing at this point is to find out what is causing the diarrhea. You need to have an evaluation by your doctor to determine that. Please see your doctor as early as you can. Thanks for watching.
@@DrKevinLowesir isn't the condition obvious that its caused by overdose of thyroxine hormone? Wont't symptooms stops after stopping medication?
@Ashishkumar-vj2vi No it is never obvious. Never make assumptions. It needs to be evaluated properly.
if i go to urgent care, can the physican there prescribe it?
There is no reason why a physician working at urgent care cannot prescribe gabapentin. But, unless your situation is urgent, it is better to let your primary care physician prescribe it. He is more familiar with your history and any special circumstances. Thanks for watching.
😊
I think you would have to take a huge amount of bupropion before getting a high. It works well as an antidepressant if taken as prescribed.
