Lived there 20+ years, your obviously out on a Sunday morning. None of these videos are ever filmed during a work day. A lot of homeless, many housed at Miller park marina or under the bridges downtown. Cant fish the rivers anymore, pollution and homeless. I was fishing knee deep in the American river for Steelhead and watched a bloody tampon float by me a few years back. American River tested for e. coli, tested positive in 4 of 5 tests. Traffic sucks, covid (Newsom)killed many amazing restaurants, It once was a beautiful city and it kills me to point all of this out but lets be real. Have many friends stilll in Sacramento and sad to report not much has changed. That being said I have much love for my once beautiful city.

I'm from there. came there when I was 16. Way before most of this. I am 54 now. I moved 5 years ago. I am shocked Harrah's is gone. I was wondering how this post co v id era has treated Reno, and the homeless problem that is way out of control in most major cities. I can feel the California vibe from here. Bye Nevada! Wont be long before California "Liberalism" ruins this once great gem of a city. Looks like you caught it at one of its annual events - Hot August Nights. Im sure city council 'cleaned' the city up real good for all the tourists. I wonder if they still have Street Vibrations. These events used to be HUGE!!! dont look so big from here...hmmm. go figure. That one casino you saw and said it looked nice... looks can be deceiving, cant they. Thats the Sands, and the 1st one that opens your video... Cal-Neva... two of the most derelict casinos in Reno as far as tweeker spots. Meth is prevalent in a 24 hr gambling town, believe me. Take care. Thx for sharing. ✌

Spent a lot of yrs skiing in Tahoe and have taken side trips to Virginia City many times....Love it when they have their little festivals here like the camel races (YUGE BIKE RUN ) associated with this...The Outhouse races, Mountain Oyster cookoff, Chilli Cookoff....Used to love the Hippie days but i dont think they do that one anymore....Big fan of the old Silver Dollar Saloon downstairs and the store with all the salt water taffy LOL !!! Red Dog Saloon is good for music now and then to....
