Albert Park is located just South of Melbourne, As a street circuit it looks quite a bit different when the F1 isnt in town. I drove round and attempted to replicate the style of Dawid Kłoda's video, was a fun exercise, audio track was muted due to wind noise. All the kerbs are temporary, they just get moved for race track set up.

Came from the monaco video! Its amazing to see the difference, do you know how long it takes them to go from this to race ready? Theres so much that needs to go on must take them weeks and interfere with the locals a lot
They’ll generally start setting up round 2 months out, heavy highway patrol presence to make sure people aren’t speeding round the track, about a week out from the first day it’ll close to the public and remain that way for 2-3 weeks and it’s generally all taken down about 2 months after the race. Doesn’t really affect local as it’s not really commuted on unless you’re going to the swim centre or one of the sports teams round Albert park.
Do they scrub all the tire marks off after the race?

Something is wrong boyz how the remove brick things on the track racing line where the gravel come from during race days and these big stadiums ? And why during the race the track looks wider the in this video I can't get it

Does anybody know, how long it takes to prepare this to become a Formula 1 racing track? Removing all the traffic signs, installing all barriers in order to form the track , block the roads, build the paddock and so on ? What time is needed ? A month ? So 2 months a year ( March and April ) this all is blocked for common people?
That is insaaaane. Wow, I can't imagine how much work the City of Melbourne does in order to host the GP of Australia. I'm mesmerized.
