It’s a breath of fresh air to see a toilet enthusiast repair the original components rather than replacing them entirely! new replacement parts just aren’t the same as the originals and retro toilets just aren’t complete without their original them.
Looks quite nice actually. The white complements the Pink toilet.

Hi, I have a zenith I have had since I was 15 it means a lot to me. Very sentimental. The radio works, but the turn table stopped working. I have had some local guys look at it but they cannot fix. Wondering if you can help?

Cool tractor! I love old garden tractors, small engines and even have a few hit and miss engines. My favorites are the old Gravely tractors. The old Cub Cadets are very heavy machines.
My plan is to get it running good again then totally repaint it the original color with the original paint from Cub cadet and see if I can still get the original decal kit for it.
Nice! I used to have a 1960 American Standard Master One Piece with the same ballcock. I'm pretty sure I put the same kit in it. It's a good valve.

My wife wanted a mauve one of these. After a great deal of study they are a nightmare. From modding parts to constant maintenance to get what you just saw...a 2 on the 1-10 flush scale.
They are nice and kind of fancy but yes for sure they can be problematic lol

Ok on the capstan there's a shaft that will unscrew to make the shaft smaller for a slower speed and if you add or leave the outside shaft on it speeds up the speed

I love old stall urinals. Those are Standard Chinal urinals. Looks like they have the original Sloan Crown flushometers too.

I have a general electric 675 transistor radio that has a 3 prong battery connector. Do you happen to know what type of battery I can hook up to it?
I enjoy watching vintage electronics repair though I have only a rudimentary knowledge of electronics. (enough to not fry myself or the electrical components.) I have a Realistic Concertmate 8 (1970's I think) that looses volume after 1 minute of operation. Not sure if its the potentiometer/amplifier or something in the tuner. You ever run into this issue?
