Before this Wimbledon, the players at WTA gathered to complaint about Seles's grunt. The authority discussed with Seles and Seles did not grunt during this Wimbledon final. She was not allow to play her style, and was playing against not only Graf, but the women players, and the authority. She lost easily. It's so unfair to her. There was no rules on grunting, yet the women silenced her and muted her game.

Borg is the most impressive tennis player I have ever seen. He was a very mysterious player because he was very silent, very calm and made no gesture of irritation or joy. His nickname was "iceborg". I felt like I was seeing some sort of “God” come to Earth. No other tennis player ever gave me such a visual impression again. Federer Nadal and Djokovic are legends, but they never achieved the aura of Borg because they remained human, while Borg gave the impression of having come from another planet, of being an alien, and when he had his beard, he looked like it was Jesus Christ playing tennis. At the age of 25 he had already won 11 Grand Slams. People today can't imagine the legendary player Borg was back then. He stopped playing tennis at just 26 years old, that’s incredible too.

Agassi the bridge of two gens. Andre played the great Federer both in top shape (masters houston) and this game vs the pricky johnny mac. Agassi was forced to improve a lot from johnny macs level to Federer level in order to keep up. all credits to Agassi cos he was not a spring chicken any more.

Martina's father said to her after this match that her ball toss had got too low in this match and as a result her serve started to go off. Martina had a low ball toss at the best of times, but it could get much worse when she was nervous or not on form.

Seles hammered a forehand longline deep that landed close to the baseline which Graf only just returned, seles then absolutely powered a backhand longline that made the reporter shout out "wow" in admiration, Graf got to this one with her phenomenal speed, but her return landed short , so moving in Seles fired another backhand into the cross court corner, but slick Graf had anticipated that shot and was already on her way. Hitting a running forehand passing shot for a winner. Great rallye.

I was a kid just starting my journey during this time. Miss the personalities, game styles & character of that era, all which has been lost in today's era. Always wonder what Borg would of done if he didn't retire at 25/26 yrs old. Definitely a few more French Opens. Probably a few more Wimbledons. And maybe that elusive U.S Open! Thank you for the video memory!
