The vocal melody might be in D, but why are you using D Major? The song sounds Minor to me, maybe even Phrygian or harmonic/melodic minor.

As a relatively new fan myself the only question I have is who is playing the synth parts? It seems everybody loves the synth parts and songs by them but there is no keyboard player.... if they are entering the realm of metalcore, should they not be looking for a permanent noted keyboardist?

Just seen this, really interesting breakdown (mistakes and all!) In answer to your question: Yes, two notes is a power chord. A third note (either major third or minor third) would create a triad and would determine whether the chord is major or minor.

Awesome stuff and really cool break down. I was wondering how you would handle the timing for this. I know my DAW (ableton) can change time signatures mid song but that is alot of work constantly changing between for each verse. Your way worked well. Minor thing. I think the F#5 in the ascending vocal line is actually an F5.

Hey Guys! So unfortunately a line of notes in the piano melody is wrong. It accidentally got bumped by 1 semitone and I did not notice until after. So if it sounds a bit off its because its more major sounding than minor. But we learn from mistakes :) I hope you guys enjoy the demo of the verse anyways! They just uploaded their latest MV entitled WHAT❓ the leader wrote, compose and co-produce the song. the youngest is the creative director and all of them choreographed the song too :) Fun fact: a friend of the production told us that they have very limited budget for this MV. Also the scene on dessert like area is actually lahar not sand. :)
