You have to wonder why he never put more suspension on those XR750s. He loved Harley. Great. Just modify it for what you are doing with it. If he had done that, and understood about rear wheel speed affecting flight/landing angle, he could have jumped farther and landed safely. Look at his son and Bubba. They had better suspension.

It's funny. This whole movie is obviously leading to a finale chase with the bad guys, but that chase (last 18 minutes of the movie) is almost entirely devoid of real stunts. The part where the motorcycle jumps off the hill above the tunnel and lands on the truck could have been impressive, but the scene cuts. I assume the motorcycle stuntman wiped out or drove off the truck or something.
