I’m planning on getting the laptop for schoolwork, I’d also be watching some Netflix, CZcams and play some games during my free time, is it able to withstand these tasks and what specs should I get?

Yes you can certainly find a black population at the school--I am not sure what the stats are for the graduate schools, but I'm sure you can find a number on Duke's website. Good luck!
