Sound Collage Project 1
Hi Everyone, this is a sound design Project I made in my Sound Design class.
I wanted to create a little short story with series of events. With a man going to buy groceries then being pulled over by a cop. I tried to make it sound as realistic as possible by using various techniques like using both the left and right side of the speakers as well as having foreground, mid ground, and background. Some of the sounds I used were car engines foot steps as well as some sighs and panting. I even placed a bleep noise to make it sound like the person is cursing. I had to create a story without any dialogue, so it was interesting and a fun project to work on.

I watched this 7 years ago. Since then I’ve been in three face to face armed robberies with a gun shot at me, 2 fights helping complete strangers, one I got in between a man with a knife trying to hurt a woman, and stabbed in the leg getting mugged walking to work by two guys. I sit at home sometimes and wonder why? Videos like this keep me going. Videos like this help me understand why I do what I do. Videos like this remind me to keep moving forward for me and others.
