A Spontaneous Backpacking Trip to Lake Katherine, NEW MEXICO (pt 1)
The night before I got a call asking if I wanted to join a 2 day backpacking trip to Lake Katherine-- an 8 mile hike in above Santa Fe, New Mexico. I had never backpacked, hadn't packed, didn't have supplies, didn't check the weather, but said why not. So the next morning we woke up earlier and started our adventure.
