When I first saw this movie I didn't like all the silence between Carol and Therese, it made me uncomfortable. Now I LOVE IT!! I want to see it again and again - and I will. There are so many layers to this story. And a big plus- as much as I dislike labels, I am happy that Carol and Therese are portrayed as "femmes" since uneducated people seem to think either all lesbian couples consist two "butches" or of one "butch" and one "femme". No one should care either way, but this movie did a good job showing that this coupling exists. It could also help little baby lesbians to know this.

Carol can't stand it anymore and she risks ending this war that Harge started and giving up on Rindy, she actually goes back to Therese where she belongs, she doesn't have to escape from her dreamland and leaves herself to Therese's ivy.
