Windows 11 24H2 will not allow these. The setup It is restricted on hardware level including CPU requirements. It can't bypassed and will boot freeze and stop installing after the first reboot. PEOPLE who are on beta Windows Insider Preview 24H2 (CANNARY CHANNEL) FOUND OUT. Better stick to Windows 10 or Windows 11 22H2 for now.

My unit is the same as yours but mine has been factory fitted with a (2x way flick switch" next to the USB power input. Tried everything to get HF receive on this damn thing and never had any luck at all. Software i use is SDR# (SDR Sharp) and i bought a brand new indoor "Youloop" HF antenna. The unit works fine for VHF/UHF on my outdoor Scanking antenna. Going to invest in an SDRPlay unit i think.

You have to set the HDSDR programming up right, in order to get the HF bands. Your setup for gathering VHF/UHF bands.

On mine I found that the preamp transistor on the HF side was getting no voltage. On the underside of the carrier board, under the RTL-SDR dongle, there are large VIA holes for the thru-hole parts. One of those parts is an electrolytic capacitor near the 3.3 Volt regulator. The VIA under the positive lead of the capacitor needs to be soldered to the positive capacitor lead, which will route 3.3 Volts to the bias network for the HF Preamp.

Thats because you are using an RP SMA male to RF adapter ( the pin inside is missing), an RP SMA male will fit just fine to SMA female conector, but the center conductor is not connected, you need an SMA male to rf adapter, because an SDR doesnt use the same connector as a wifi router for example, hope this helps, write back to me so i know what you think about it...

This chinese dongle do not run over hf frequencies. I see so much friends lost money with this model. Try one configuration... Put selector in i mode and try tunning 40m and shortwaves. I have one piece of trash with a same problem.

I have the same one and it is a pile of shit. I Can receive 10m 11m anything below 10m then nothing. Vhf and uhf is ok but not the best think im going to go for sdr play.
