Is the PP going to be a huge factor? Florida had 69 penalty minutes (not counting the simultaneous calls on opposing teams, otherwise it would be 207) throughout the entire post season (which was still the most in the league). That's right, 69 PIMs in 17 games. That is 2 penalty calls a game. That extrapolates to 14 calls over a 7 game series. That means 5x5 play will, most likely decide this series, not the special teams.

It’s true, I haven’t watched much of the Panthers games, but others have overlooked the Oilers. But it doesn’t matter what other teams throw at them, they manage to adjust and find ways to win. It’s not always pretty or textbook, but they just get it done! Oilers in 6👍🏽

This is not a banged up stars team all these narratives have to be sat on because the panthers are so boring to watch. When the panthers win the only excuse is the other team didn't show up. How many teams have to get shut down for people to realize the other teams showed up but the panthers just sit on you until you give up. this is not underestimating the oilers its correctly estimating the panthers.

@@tontweer 100% now it's a matter of seeing if EDM will get back up after being sat on or will they stay down - what I like about EDM is this year is their ability to adapt: we saw in VAN with the goalie change, and in DAL preventing the cherry pick plays Knobloch & Coffey have honestly been geniuses with the offense and defence respectfully

@@idawg7332 FLA plays such good hockey and honestly their style is so consistent it's scary how they maintained such a level of intensity after their loss. I love their team in the end it's how each team responds to each other when playing playoff hockey and that's what makes it so interesting. I really want to see FLA win it because that's everything they're doing right. their formula and the way they play is how you should win and watching them win with that to prove that they are the best is so much sweeter

no the entire talking head machine is all behind the oilers, coming up with crazy ways that the oilers are better individually like in goal. those who think the panthers will edge out the panthers are estamating the oilers correctly. If the oilers do many things they can win, if the panthers change nothing they win. That's nitpicking . Otter is a great goalie and he had a great playoff . Just ran into another hot goaltender and the stars offense dried up at the wrong time .

I think the Stats have an extremely bright future. Even with the prospects that have within the system. I think it’s a moment they can grow from.
