there you got a point but FSX has gone trough a huge price-drop last year... it's worth buying (about 20€ for gold now). I bought gold edition for 50€ but you should be able to download it free somewhere!
yes, I played it the day it was available... but got bored 10 times faster than in FSX you can only fly an island on hawai and three if you pay money, in FSX you have the entire world!!! it is more realistic, and challenging for more experienced pilots/simmers...
now you can actually play the game, flight sucks indeed, you can only fly at hawai release trailer (720p) /watch?v=J8UObwdxgSo

In my opinion, MS flight and FSX (with ground scenery and REX) are identical.
