Being a lover of aviation and flying machines from a very early age, I have flown full scale airplanes and gliders and am passionate about RC flying. There will be some aerial photography and videos here as well.
This channel is also about my journey with digital videography although there will probably not be videos concerning the topic, rather I will be trying out new techniques and such.

Working on my RC airplane FPV chasing skills. Big thanks and shoutout to my club flying friends John Sumner and Alex C for piloting the airplanes. It is almost impossible to keep up with these planes at my FPV skill level unless there is cooperation and communications between pilots. I am finding that this is more like formation flying. For those of you out there who are also doing the same thing, what do you find helps you to track your subjects and get better video sequences?

I was on hand to document a fellow club member maiden the biggest EDF we have had at TCRC. Our field will not support turbine aircraft. Three of our members have gotten these awesome Black Horse jets and Chris is the first to fly his. The three members have different paint schemes. Tri Co R/C, Savannah GA was able to resume it's annual fund raiser for the Mighty Eighth Museum after a 2 year pandemic hiatus. Unlike the 2019 version that was cut short by rain, the weather was excellent with temps in the 70's.

A short video made from two a two day visit to my former glider club. Since I last flew with them, Ridgeland airport (3J1) has reconfigured the runways. LCS now also has winch launch capabilities for training. It has also added a 3rd club glider, a Blanik L23. Airport management is less glider friendly than before, but a lot of fun can still be had there!

Dropped in to visit my favorite SC club that is blessed with ample flying spaces. I was told this was a make up event and was probably the last for 2021. It was a 3 day event. Yes, Sir. He meant to say C27J… I and the drone pilot are in the same RC club… I’m the one flying the C27J (Eflite’s EC-1500)

Timely video. Nicely done. I just ordered one and it shipped today (to Knoxville). Can you tell me the specifics of powerplant, ESC and any other details? And is it the latest from Motion with included retracts? If so, how are they? Thanks!
Jetfan 120 Pro, Het Typhoon 800-68-685kv and heatsink from Fanjetsusa. ZTW Gecko 150a Esc. This was bought from France last year as Motion RC out of stock. Retracts w/brakes are from JPhobby.
@@chrisgardner1504 Thanks! One other question: did you use the intake ducting method provided in the kit, partially duct or leave it completely open? I'm seeing variable opinions on this. Thanks again.
@@dtkristy1 I used the partial duct method and removed the rear 4" or so in front of the fan, added the curved intake ring on the fan, and did not install the nose wheel well cover. It get lots of air like this and sounds really great. I got the tips from Wojick on you tube, he has lots of videos on this plane.

The one after the Spit looks like the Boeing P-26 from Seagull. Really awesome to see it fly. Small chance it could be from a different source. I know there are plans out there for a 84" made by Dan Santich too. I wonder if its scratch built.

The pilot who did the auto rotations and his friend are from Rockledge FL. He flies at a RC club in that area.
@@richardsthingsthatfly264 I have a blade 230 s and a v950 RC helicopter I fly in my backyard but since the covert has been going around I haven't found any place that I can fly other than my backyard if you get a chance hit me up maybe we can get together and you can show me some things be safe out there
