That is not true. I lost my dad 28 years ago and its always been my mom who has her strong faith in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Yes my dad believed in God/Creator then became a strong Christian but started participating our Hopi tradition. But he didn't partake in the dancing ceremonies. He would partake in thewhatever the men did in the kiva would be prayer and mediation. My mom served God all her life. My husband believed in God but didnt follow Him. I always knew Jesus would never leave my side and i belive in my Christian faith. I quit going to church and left my faith in Christianity but never God. I never turned to witchcraft or to crystals or anything dark cause in my faith that is bad and messing with demons or dark energy. Hopi believe in God and Jesus and know God as Creator which is the same. But my mom's faith in God the Father Jesus the son and the Holy Spirit. I understand where this girl is coming from. I with this guy too. We have strong mothers in their strong faith in God and this is where we get it from. I believe a strong woman with no man around, just her strong faith in God can give her a strong connection to Him. One Uncle on my mom's side was a minister and was strong in his Christian faith. I only seen him once after my dad died then we lost my uncle q2 years ago and I wish he was still alive cause he would be the onky one to give me the true trut from the bible. I pray that Jesus and the Holy spirit will help guide me now that i need more help with my grief since i lost my husband 6 mos ago to cancer.
