Not a raptor competitor lol raptor is more of Baja. ZR2 is off road
Tesla have less expensive EVs that charge significantly faster and have self driving as standard equipment. These Equinox are showing up at dealerships as $50,000 , a terrible price for such a low performance EV
It looks bad the 2024 one looks rly good tbh
Wrong tires
Does fast charging hurt your batteries or hurt the amount of times you can recharge your batteries?
I'm getting it ...chevy I love yall foreal...dang I'm getting it!
More less expensive ev and watch sales go back up. Tired of inflation and everything expensive
It is absolutely beautiful. Damn!
Cooled seats? I think they are ventilated not cooled, there is a difference. Please shoot widescreen, looks better on vehicle reviews. Do not like the black rims, they look cheap and won't age well. Little surprised they show an unreleased rim in the infotainment screen, guessing that's the 20", glad to see it's not in black. RS really needs a machine faced rim option.
When I took delivery of my Bolt EUV last may I must admit I was pleasantly surprised at how well built it was even though it was chevy’s least expensive ev, they didn’t skimp on quality. I’ve let many of my friends and family drive it and they’ve all felt the same way I did and they love the car. So the answer is yes, I’d buy the equinox ev,because I do trust the quality will be there.
I'll wait for this one to catch on fire like the Chevy volt then they'll fix that then wait until that catches fire again and let them fix it all the way through, maybe 10 years minimum when they fix everything 😂
Do tou see what brand Radio ❤
After federal tax rebate Fifty six thousand dollars later
I wish this had the Bose sound system and the digital mirror like how it was originally advertised as getting. Hopefully they’ll add that at a later date and I’ll get one!
When is the review coming out? I sure hope you turn your phone for the next one... Thanks for yhis quick view!
Is that the same operating system as the Lyriq?
no carplay makes it pretty much a pass for me i had a blazer ev for a week or two as a loaner car and it was very annoying to not have carplay
Yes 👍…GM needs to really add that. Period
No BURN OIL
I looked over options for all trim levels and no upgraded audio system is seen. Kind of a bummer. Even though the Bose option hasn’t been amazing it sounds better than the stock system on my other GM cars.
What they don't tell you is that you have to subscribe to a monthly plan to have access to your maps and other infotainment features that comes standard in Hyundai and Kia group vehicles. For the extra 25bux a month infotainment access fee, you could get a much nicer vehicle that doesn't need a lifetime subscription to have access to basic features like maps. Also, you can't used Android Auto or Carplay because they disabled those. Also, you get 8 years of GM app access. Which you'll have to dish out another monthly fee to use basic app features once you're done paying for it. I'd imagine this is how a loan sharks would program their vehicle.
You must own a Tesla
If you buy one with the “Supercruise” (self-driving) option, there is another data package that you have to buy just for that. I think it’s another $25 or $30 a month.
You don’t have to buy any of that stuff. Also, it’s a car , it’s for transportation, who cares.
@Nun195 Hyundai, Kia, VW, Honda and Vinfast cares. They give you all those basic transportation apps with the purchase of any of their EVs.
❤
Does anyone know how you get a head up display on an Equinox EV? I looked at all the trims on the Chevy website but I didn't see it listed.
Only in the Chinese market, I believe.
@@doc2w534 Wow. Can’t understand why they’d do that.
Does the infotainment system use your cell phone for data connectivity or is it a separate subscription services?
I believe it uses OnStar’s cellular package; like the Infotainment 3 system it replaces.
I just ordered one
IF you live where it is not too hot IF you live where it is not too cold IF you have a bunch of solar panels and can charge during the day IF you only need to use your vehicle a couple times a week and don't go very far. IF you have a fire safe pad away from your house to park and charge it IF you don't mind the higher cost of the vehicle IF you don't mind the mind boggling depreciation IF you don't mind the increased car and home insurance. This is a GREAT purchase.
@@genxray951 If you live where it is not too hot: - Reality: Modern EVs are equipped with thermal management systems that handle a wide range of temperatures. EVs are now used in various climates around the world, from cold to hot, without major issues. If you live where it is not too cold: - Reality: EVs can perform well in cold climates, although range can be slightly reduced. Preconditioning the vehicle while still plugged in can mitigate these effects, and advancements are continually improving cold-weather performance. If you have a bunch of solar panels and can charge during the day: - Debunked: While having solar panels is a great way to offset charging costs, it's not a necessity. Many EV owners charge their vehicles overnight using grid power, often taking advantage of lower off-peak rates. If you only need to use your vehicle a couple of times a week and don’t go very far: - Debunked: EVs are used as daily drivers by many, but also have the ability to travel longer distances. With ranges exceeding 200-300 miles on a single charge for most new models, they can easily handle longer commutes with proper planning. If you have a fire-safe pad away from your house to park and charge it: - Reality: EVs have strict safety standards, and incidents of EV fires are extremely rare. Charging at home with a properly installed EV charger is safe. There is no special requirement for a fire-safe pad. If you don’t mind the higher cost of the vehicle: - Debunked: While upfront costs can be higher, total ownership costs are often lower due to savings on fuel, maintenance, and available incentives. The initial price gap is also narrowing as EV technology advances and scales. If you don’t mind the mind-boggling depreciation: - Reality: Depreciation rates for EVs have been high historically but are stabilizing as the market matures. Some models, like Teslas, have shown strong resale values. This trend is improving as EVs gain popularity. If you don’t mind the increased car and home insurance: - Debunked: Insurance costs can vary widely and are influenced by many factors. Some EVs may have slightly higher premiums, but the difference is often offset by lower operational costs. Shopping around can find competitive rates. CONCLUSION: While EVs don’t work for everyone, they DO work for a lot of people, and ownership is not as complex or scary as it seems. But it is always good to look at other factors like cost and charging situation to make an informed decision. I do like the points you brought up, but many were either completely false or needed more explanation.
@@genxray951 you are either a paid oil company propaganda agent or really stupid. There are over 5 million Tesla EVs and many none Tesla. You don’t need any of that. Electricity is cheaper and cleaner than gasoline or diesel, EVs are 1000x less likely to catch fire. It makes more sense to have the fire suppression for a SUV with 36 gallons of explosive gas parked next to your kid’s bedroom
Bet it gets turned into an ICE vehicle with the down turn of EV’s 😊 it’s a gorgeous design
Lol. Why would GM invest in converting a platform that was designed to be an EV into old technology. Try driving an EV and you'll see what I mean. As an EV owner for 5+ years now, I can tell you for an absolute certainty that gas vehicles are inferior and will eventually become obsolete once people stop believing big oil's misinformation campaigns.
Electric cars the future get used to it
Please, when you make video like this one, turn your phone to get a landscape video!
And show the interior FFS not just the dash. JFC
It looks amazing! Can’t wait to see and hear how it drives. I think GM may have a winner in their hands. About time we get access to less expensive ev!

Not exactly true. Data, maps, and infotainment features are free for 8 years.
Not exactly true! You can hotspot data from your cellphones like de Blazer EV.
Hyundai and Kia doesn’t offer Google services built into the vehicle’s infotainment system, they don’t even offer wireless connectivity in 2024 models. People are always trying to force Americans into a Hyundai or Kia. This vehicle beats anything the Koreans are offering for the same money. Chevrolets designs and interior intuitiveness can’t be beat either.
@G-Rated No one asked for built-in Google services that's tied to a separate data package. Everyone wants Android auto or carplay, because no one leaves their homes without their phone. Chevy is the one forcing their way onto customers with their claim that no one uses a frunk and the obvious backdoor payments for basic infotainment
@@G-Rated I've been looking at EVs for a while now and I've never gotten the impression that anyone is forcing Americans into Hyundai's or Kias. However, I have gotten the impression that Hyundai and Kia have made some very impressive EVs that are very competitive. This Equinox has a lot going for it based on value if it turns out to be reliable. So far, Chevy's rollout of vehicles has been slow an unimpressive, but I'm glad it's still happening nonetheless. They made the right call with recalling the Blazer. I'd still lean towards the Ioniq 5 as it's been out for a while and they've had some time to work out the kinks. Chevy has some very attractive EVs coming out, but it sure has taken them a while to get them on the market. I'm rooting for them, and if they Equinox does okay in it's first 6 months I might buy one.
Now do this in traffic
Super easy
Man in canada they blocked the sun roof option 😢
Blocked?
It's not permanently blocked. Check with your dealer
Blocked is one thing. Not available yet is a completely different thing
That car 2 is a proctologist..... He keeps it tight!... I saw one of these courses run by Met Life Stadium... Poor driver ran his towns cruiser into the fence...
Criminals will love this imaging a chase with the Ev an EV runs out of battery 😂 too funny
Wouldnt surprise me if police have kill switches to make it he EV shut down.
Nope!
Better not ever blue light me in a Chevy 😂😂
All EV a piece of junk
Wait about 5 years you will be driving your piece of junk buddy😂
Some may be, but there are quite a few that are underrated
Ur gas car a piece of junk
Great! Did you opt for the 2RS or the 3RS? What influenced your decision to go with that particular RS model over the other?
He's an automotive journalist at a media event
Disappointing to say the least. I can’t imagine a situation where someone in the design department doesn’t get fired over the predictable decline in future sales.
You just don't know how to drive a 4 by 4
I want to see behind the trailer when I’m driving how do I do that?
I really hope the seats are different the Silverado, Tahoe, and all GMC’s have the worst seats
I seen that the 2025 Yukon been getting a lot of hate about how the redesign looks but it actually doesnt look horrendous, I like the new face on it.
What brand/maker is your hardwired 240 volt charger that delivers 11.5 kw for the 2024 Hummer?

I just ordered a Hummer EV, but I have a tesla stage 2 charger at home. Any recommendation as to where I can purchase an adapter for my Hummer to charge with my tesla home charger?
didn't mention the 19.5 kw which is really made for the hummer
this exhaust sucks. i just bought a used 2021 trail boss with the performance package. You can't hear this thing one bit. No better than stock exhaust. rip off from the factory
