I have a question, do I have to get the tickets online if I'm going on the bus or does the bus driver give me the ticket to enter The OC Fair

Hello Javier, The bus driver does not give fair tickets. Those do need to be purchased online in advance.

Cuánto cuesta el pase de un día en Santa Ana california
Buenos días, El pase del día cuesta $4.50 si lo compra en la aplicación o en tienda. Si lo compra en el autobús, le sale $5
hopefully in the future it will extend a few blocks to mile square park! it would be great to be able to get to downtown santa ana from my house
Wow very nice ❤❤❤❤
O no
This is pretty funny ngl😂
I love this animation. ❤❤
how about senior passes I couldn't find it on the app when are you guys going to add senior passes
Hello, In order to see the senior fare in the OC Mobile app, you must have a senior reduced fare ID card with OCTA.
Please extend the Streetcar into Anaheim and the rest of OC
Good locations for OCTA bus 👍
Great idea! More of this across Orange County
just a glorified bus if there isnt a dedicated lane for only the streetcar.
Is the delay still expected to take all the way into 2025?
Thank you, very informative.
@goOCTA will the OCStreetcar ever be expanded to meet LA Metro Southeast Gateway Line??????
Yay, an actual update! Please focus on Center Line after this project. OC deserves rail!
Where will this streetcar go to/from?
Hello Andrew, for more information on where the route is please see link below: octa.net/programs-projects/projects/rail-projects/oc-streetcar/overview/
nice, can't wait to ride one
Looks great! Look forward to riding these streetcars soon.
What makes a streetcar superior to a bus if they both have to travel in mixed-traffic? How is the streetcar competitive to driving if the vehicles get stuck in traffic?
The Southeast Gateway Line will be finished in 2035 🥳
This is cool and all, but one thing which really excites me that I noticed in this video is protected bike lanes! I didn't know Santa Ana had these. Gotta get up there from Lake Forest to experience a taste of modern biking infrastructure.
Love to see them incorporating more walkable and bike able infrastructure!
another idea for the need for the frait why cant we open another port south in san diego where you could create more jobs and perhaps a better faster way to get things moving south ?
this is going to sound crazy but we have the ability to move mountains why cant we move some of the dirt from one of those mountains into the ocean and then put sand over the dirt to keep it from moving we could build back our beaches 1o fuld and build a burm to keep the ocean from coming in I mean if disneyland can put christmas up in a night I think somebody should be able to deal with this in a few months ....
Good job, OCTA. Can’t wait to ride. We need a whole lot more of this all over the OC.
Looks nice.
Dedicated right of way is extremely important.
... as is traffic-signal prioritization.
Yes, I'm confused how the streetcar is more effective than a bus in this scenario.
@@jbudlo2 yes this will be just as slow as buses unless they’re given traffic light priority. The only benefit I see in the streetcar is higher capacity as of now.
Amazing job! Let’s keep it going and expand to John Wayne Airport, and go to Anaheim through Disneyland
💯 and maybe Orange Outlets, Main Place Mall, South coast plaza, Segerstrom, UCI?
They messed up with this. You should not have cars driving on the rail line. It should have been a dedicated lane for rail. That means the train will have to wait behind cars and will probably be slow. Arrow in Redlands did the street car right.
That’s something I think they will be dealing with later on. If not, you can always write a letter about this to OCTA. They’ll probably find a a way to deal with that
Well its obviously not a Chinese bullet train. Yankess falling behind big time! 😂
Arrow is not a streetcar but otherwise I do agree.
Tucson, Portland, and Kansas City seem to be doing okay having their street car integrated into existing traffic lanes 😊
@@bendayhoe it’s just we have the same issue in Dowtown la where the train runs on the streets and has to wait for cars. And it adds another 10 minutes to the trip. That time could be saved it the tracks were buried. Or separate from cars lanes.
Need much more light rail in OC, PLUS have the Metrolink running to Union Station more often and later. I'd never drive again if I didn't have to. I'd also never drive to Los Angeles for anything if the Metrolink ran all through the evening up until 1:00 a.m. or so on F/Sa. We'd be able to do a myriad of activities in L.A. County without worrying about parking fees or having a car broken into. It's really difficult trying to commute responsibly to L.A. when the last train to O.C. leaves Union Station at 6:30 p.m. and it takes forever to get your connection on time on a bus or the few Metro subway lines.
Metrolink is adopting pulse scheduling which should be adopted sometime this year (I think). For the OC line, train trips will increase from 20 to 30 per weekday. They are adding in more SB trips in the morning and NB trips in the evening to fill in the day. It's definitely a start! Late night Metrolink would be amazing, especially for Disney trips!
Bring it down Main Street to ARTIC!
It already serves the Santa Ana Transit Station where you could use Metrolink to make the connection. Wouldn't it be redundant to have it serve the same stations as Metrolink? I would personally prefer it to serve popular destinations such as Outlets at Orange, Main Place Mall, Hospitals in Orange, South Coast Plaza, John Wayne airport and maybe UCI?
I hope land use changes around the line otherwise it will be wasteful
you can see all their intended uses in the general plan’s land use element online
These drivers are unastoundly terrible at doing their job. Most, possibly all don't know how to speak English and we found 💩 in the back of he van
