In the early mining days how did they get water in such isolated areas?
Straight down. That particular money district you could be areas where the water is very shallow via a drill and a pump. Some places that goes down 500 feet so it’s 20 feet but there’s a lot more than people think in that area. It’s one of the reasons that they actually were successful there

2 years and now updates. Did you find it? If the legend is true then the search should start with a terrain map that shows the lowest spots in the desert as those would have been the last vestiges of water for the ship to be in before finally getting stuck. Then do some GPR searches for anomolies.
