Arizona Flash Flood - Drone Video
zhlédnutí 3,2MPřed 6 lety
Caught in an Arizona flash flood. The road washed out, so we decided to get drone video. Meanwhile water started coming over the road behind us, trapping us in. We had to make a run for it. Location: Somewhere near Hackberry, Arizona. Route 66, Kingman.
Elk Close-Up by Drone

Video shot in the Hualapai Mountains - Northern Arizona - Summer 2017. Video quality is a little shaky because the drone camera was mounted improperly.
Phantom 3 - Test Flight

The camera got damaged in a crash, this is the first test flight after that repair. The crash broke the roll arm motor, the yaw arm, and the master ribbon. It was a pretty easy fix. The roll motor is still not fixed, so the image tilts sideways for most of the video.
NOS CREEMOS DUEÑOS DEL PLANETA TIERRA PERO SOMOS INSIGNIFICANTES ANTE LAS FUERZAS DE LA NATURALEZA. PERO NO APRENDEMOS.
Gee! I can't imagine a stream flowing wherever it wants to in a flood plain. It clearly happens frequently by the grader-made windrows of sediment along both sides or the road and the puddles from a previous "flood".
Beautiful animal. Good 👍 video !
Dommage de gâcher de très belles images par un très mauvais pilotage, avant de poster vos vidéos allez vous entraîner à la manipulation de votre drôle.
Don't ever live near a flood plain in the desert because you never know when a flood of water will just come your way.
Wait, they have water in Arizona? Was just there and didn’t see a drop other than the campsites.
Great video, really shows what happens and how quick it does. Got to love Arizona.
You can see the difference in the plants that gets more water
Way TOO MUCH emphasis on tricklings while missing out on the real deal of drama
Gostaria de saber quanto tempo dura essa lama
Wondering how far & how fast that water has traveled in such flat open country? Glad your drone’s batteries were well charged!
I did not know duallys like this dodge ram cross
I really enjoyed this video I grew up in Arizona where flash floods were very prevalent
From were it starts
I was planning a bike ride through there and heard about the problem of the flash flooding and how I'd have to find someone with a truck to get me through.
Awesome video!
This video showed how to put that into the ground to replenish the aquifer. Maybe someone is trying it their. They dig ruts to catch the flood waters rather then let it run off. czcams.com/video/jDMnbeW3F8A/video.html
Bad boy! Bad bad boy! You're a bad boy aren't you? Tell me you're a bad boy. You bad bad boy you...
Jesus coming
He is, and soon, but I don't know how that relates to this video :)
Where did this start, were there big rains further up as this ground is so dry?
Most of the lowlands, the ground is mainly hardpan. It's almost impossible to dig through, and very little loose material on the top, if any. The water runs off it as if it were a sold rock. The rain is likely from one of the nearby mountains. It can run across that hard ground for miles.
@@macgyveratlarge2133 thank you for explaining this for me. I've been to USA & parts were so dry, but beautiful!
Time to build watet management earth works to feed the land not thr gullies.
How about just accepting the earth as God designed it rather than trying to implement your own ideas for the desert ? lol
@@sanfrancisco9661 trouble is man deforestation caused the problems so man must fix IF man wants to live.
Seeing as there appears to be no rain, this water must come from many miles away.
Correct. Same with lightening. You can get hit when the storm is ten miles distant.
Love the desert
Watching cars drive through the water made me a bit nervous. Solid footage.
Why? 2 inches of water is going to sweep the car into outer space?
@@TempoDrift1480 It was more like 4 inches but the SPEED AND VOLUME make the difference, genius.
@@sanfrancisco9661 K.
Very fascinating 👌
I'm from the midwest, born and raised, so I know NOTHING about Arizona. My question is, how is there flash flooding here, where everything is so dry, also because it seems like its such a small area that it's coming from! Just crazy! Hope there were no injuries
amazing to think how far the water has actually traveled before reaching you guys ,, must have been raging closer to the mountains
👍🏻♥️
Qué hermoso lugar.

Nice 5d visual video. Welcome to graphic design videos where creation is give a fake name and relate to some real incident.

Water come from where please explained..
From 8:36 i can see the shadow of drone 😁😁
lovely footage..
...and this is why deserts are not smart places to live in.
I thought rattlesnakes and scorpions were the problem.
@@sanfrancisco9661 Every time it rains here (Palm Springs), major flooding
hi...i am your nw friend...join with me
Good video, thank you for sharing
Leak in a watery system somewhere?
A real treat. Hope you have offered this footage to Arizona hydrologist.
I wish I could see where the water was coming from ?
O God
If the government knows about this and of course they do then they should have a bridge over this section of highway. Gads what a desolate state. Thank GOD our parents moved to Calif. before we started school. Nothing here in Arizona except blowing sand, hotter than hell and all kinds of snakes and insects that can kill you. We would not live hear if we were offered a million dollars to do so. When my moms folks went to heaven we never have gone back to visit any relatives and never will. I cannot repeat what the men in the family think about Arizona.
Helen: it may surprise you but there are thousands of such places in American deserts. Do YOU really want a bridge across every low spot in every desert? Have some personal responsibility for yourself and learn the hazards of where you are driving before YOU go. Its not up to everyone else to babysit you.
I grew up in mesa but spent alot of time in aj, East mesa and queen creek and sycamore creek all of which have very similar flash floods. One of many reasons why we have the "stupid motorist" law. Nice footage thanx for the "flash backs" lol
would have been better,if ya had stoped going up and down like a yoyo
I enjoyed the video. Living in Arizona we have to understand and respect flash floods. This one was actually on the mild side. Thank you for sharing this video.
Thats true. I saw a video on CZcams of a violent flash flood. Strong enough to wash a car away easy.
vivant en arizona comment je voudrait un jour pouvoir dire ca moi qui suit en france vive l'arizona alors
The flood of 1983, now that was something.
I think you did a great job. Great view from above. And don't pay any mind to the negative comments. They are just jealous of you. Just please be safe!!!!
