what about a drawer. do not take easy way out.
dumb. by mounting in the middle you have effectively reduced to resistance of pulling by 75% giving you kid three times the leverage to break or force the door. anyone watching always mount as far away from the hinges as possible for maximum performance. im sure the instructions even state to do this.

I did this but no matter how tight I make it there is enough slack for the baby to pull on the cabinet and make a gap big enough for her fingers
