Thanks for making this video. My daughter is thinking about attending Carleton, and this review made her feel better about her decision. Since this was recorded 4 years ago at this point, do you still feel the same about Carleton, or would you make another choice now?
Hey, funny you should ask this question since I'm currently in Carleton finishing up my finals! I'm glad the video was of help. I would still recommend Carleton for its small, friendly community, and helpful professors. I likely have an update video coming soon of graduate schools I got into due to studying at Carleton, which may also be of help to your daughter. My advice is no matter where she decides to go, to keep an open mind and stay curious. Good luck!

dude the Ivy is just riding on their old reputation they had before. there are so many great colleges like Amherst, Pomona, Carleton that many great minds are coming from. Look at Jennifer Doudna who went to Pomona and literally invented CRISPR and many many more. I hate the elitism that people who go to these Ivy or like "prestigious" uni have or how other people who would judge one's ability based on the name of the college they went to. it's all so narrow minded and stupid.

Carleton is kind of like Union College in NY. Small, northern colleges, founded about the same time, with the same friendly vibe and very good academic reputations. And hardly any name recognition, but the students don't gaf. UCLA accepted Olivia Jade, forget them!

College don’t matter. I got rejected from my top choice ivy leagues and ended up with my 2nd safety net school. Saved a shit ton but now working in finance making six figs 2 years post graduation can’t complain
