This was an amazing album. ❤ I've noticed Touhou has had many fanmade albums (one of the first I saw was Adventures in Inferno), but they tend to follow an "imaginary game" structure, with stage themes and boss themes. This is fine, but I started wanting to see something else: an album in the style of DiPP/Hifuu, with originals and arrangements accompanied by a story that didn't follow "game" structure. Yesterday, a friend, one Yuuki66, told me about this album, which does exactly that, and I listened and read my way through it just now. I am more than satisfied with it. ❤

commenting 4 months later, despite using instruments with weak drums/percussion, this is actually a pretty solid soundtrack remix, and the overrated, loud Necrofantasia is objectively improved here (the Necrofantasia remix is better than the original without a doubt)

I have some critique, please don't take it negative or downvote me, it's just my opinion for the sake of wanting the team to improve. I think overall pretty decent, but I'm not really feeling the sound mixing in this one, specifically in all of Kale Hokaido's tracks. 40:09 The Decisive Battle here just sounds so empty and is mixed a little roughly and could have used some adjustments with effect levels too. The guitar sample is also pretty weak. It's not bad by any means, but just really out of place compared to the other musicians who mixed their songs a bit better. It's lacking some warmth and dimension to the song that makes it feel pretty flat, like they were just using a soundfont or something to that effect adding onto that uhhhh 1:02:23 Chiyuri's theme also sounds extremely empty and flat here for the same reasons. Not much going on here and I was a little disappointed. There's just very little layers to Kale's songs, and I don't say that to be mean but it's just, there needs to be so much more warmth to them to round out the sound. Maybe play around with some effects and just naturally pay attention to the mixing. Also the lack of a proper drum solo was really disappointing!! :( ........ Strawberry crisis was fun and interesting. It's not what I wanted, but I can tell everyone had fun with it! Overall good job everyone, keep it up
