A few possible suggestions for design: The raised bumps on your guards are a little high and unnecessary. Delete them. They only impede the flow of air (and slow down water drainage). Instead, deepen the existing drainage troughs (that run from front to back direction), and make the front wider and rear (water drain side) narrow, similar idea to the mouth of a tea kettle. That also creates a simple vortex generator which improves aerodynamics and prevents water touching the mirror surface. Because car mirrors are generally not perpendicular to the car body, the troughs should be slightly angled, so they run parallel to the car to minimize resistance and maximize water & air flow。 Maybe, add a deep lateral water drain gutter near the front of the guard, to run some of the rain water to the side, so minimal water reaches the rear. Because some car mirror housings have large flat tops that collect too much rain. Additionally, the width (front to rear) of the guards (60mm) on the market tend to be too wide, reducing vision for the driver, but the length (180mm) tends to be too short for some cars with wide mirrors (SUVs with 200mm+ mirrors). This looks clever. Nicely designed. If made in Taiwan likely well made too. But it also looks very easy to STEAL. Presumably with a quick release attachment to arm of mirror, any thief can merely clip it open and take it away. Would be nice if there was a set screw or something that required a thief to at least have TOOL to take this nice thing away from you.
From the video and description, its not clear HOW the mount works? Shows user placing the mount on the mirror, them removing and it to change its position (effortlessly) then reattaching. However, is it GLUED? Suction cup? Magnetic? Have NO IDEA how this adheres makes it difficult to make buy or NO BUY decision. Also, if made in TAIWAN more likely to buy. If made in CHINA/PRC, less likely to buy. But info as to WHERE its made is missing. Ho hum.
