The VCC Foundation is a rapidly growing, results-oriented, apolitical organization with a very focused mission: to preserve the architecture and ambiance of the Vieux Carré Historic District.
The Foundation’s mission is to support and further the cause and constitutional charge of the Vieux Carré Commission: to preserve and to protect the invaluable historic architectural heritage of New Orleans’ French Quarter. The Foundation pursues this mission by not only providing the VCC with needed equipment and supplies, but also funding and undertaking major projects for the benefit of the VCC, which the agency is unable to pursue on its own due to its limited means.

1) Absorbed by 1001 Toulouse, now Maison Dupey but used to be Lattmans Sheet Metal Works in the 1960s. You can see pics of it in the 70s referencing your database. Wendi Melling is correct, would have been 615 Burgundy. 2) 1100 block of Decatur; Jax sign hangs on 1135-37 Decatur 3) 1300 block of Decatur; the mint is just out of the photo on the left 4) 1100 block of Decatur; intersection of gov nicholls and Decatur, again reference the Jax sign
Yes again! We are so thankful to have folks like you that are willing to help us pin these down. We especially like the insights that come with it, like the reference to Lattmans Sheet Metal Works!
