Resurfacing or widening?
Widening…six lanes Canton to Cumming. It took nearly four years to complete the first two mile stretch. Our segment is already a year behind schedule. It is horrible.

That hill looked kinda steep from my chair. I’m not a leaf person. I had to rake leaves my entire life while living at home. And now since losing dad I’m doing it again.
I don’t enjoy raking, but I don’t mind mulching them with the mower. I LOVE a leaf watching in the fall! It was something we did growing up, and then I enjoyed going with both Mom and Dad and then me and Daddy. We usually get some really pretty color here around the beginning of November!
But is more fun in the dirt.

Good point but where? Traffic is a nightmare even up at Jasper and Dawsonville now! The development is flooding all of north Georgia now. 😢😢😢

I remember my grandparents having a big glider like you have!! I don’t know what ever happened to it.
My great grandmother who lived across the street from us had a green one exactly like this! I don’t know who originally owned this one, but when I bought the house, I put in the contract the glider stayed!!!! I usually keep a cushion in it to make it nicer to sit in (was washing the cover yesterday to get rid of the pollen) because I had it sitting outside for a couple of years and the weather did a number on it even though it should not have! I love it, and it makes me think of being a little girl and sitting in it with my Granny under a big tree similar to the one you see in my front yard in this video.
