I do wear them sometimes but I find my outfit looks extra “wow” with a pointy toe. I also find that square or pointy can be equally as comfy depending on the construction of the shoe.

my experience is exactly the same .. I'm quite annoyed when people are prooving that high waisted jeans is a great choice for every single person, just because it's in fashion.

Thanks for the comment. I tend to not like a fully tucked in shirt unless it’s fitted and show my curves/defines my waist. I sometimes like a larger shirt tucked in casually, asymmetrically in the front only. It gives a drapey effect. For me, high waisted feels accommodating to my curves, rather than squeezing at the fleshy part of my hips causing them to squish out around the waistline of the pants. Even better when it’s monochromatic to not give the color blocking visual.

@@EmbodiedStyle oh yes I totally agree with the large shirt tucked in asymmetrically. Also, monochromatic helps a lot!!

@@helahreljac1523 They don't work for me. It's not terrible as long as I don't bend over or sit, but once I do, they scrunch down to where they should be. LOL

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that Violet. I hope the surgery goes well for you. I started buying my pointy boots at least a half size bigger. It doesn’t work so well for flats though.

You can have wider hips or narrower hips and still be a SD. Kibbe types aren't about your proportions in the traditional sense.

My go to SD tall girl trick is wearing wide leg pants and pointy toe flats. It appears like heels if the pants are wide enough! And adds no height to my 5’10 SD self!

@@tula1433 ​​⁠that’s real good. In general I find a wider hem looks more balanced with flats than a skinnier leg.

The process was surprisingly gently so I do suspect it would work on heavy wool sweaters. I used scissors to trim a few longer threads too.
