Trees are supposed to live hundreds of years, not be cut down after 30.
This is cool I like this the forested is so perfect 👌
This is very permaculture, is anyone familiar? Love
Also search for forest of Arghakhanchi
It's not how many trees or even the density of the forest that matters, it's the diversity of plants and animals that can live under and on them that contributes to forest health. Natural forests aren't just a mono-cropped canopy, but have plant communities of many species with developed ecological relationships. Trees can be planted, but a forest cannot. As we expand into undeveloped land, we inevitably clear more trees. Those trees aren''t always what we've grown. With regards to forest management, some forest do need direct human interference, but it's NOT by cutting trees. Oak-hickory forest and oak barrens requires fire to clear out brush, but the trees remain because they can take the heat. Food-providing herbaceous plants flood the illuminated understory. For more on what happens when oak-hickory forests go without fire, look up forest mesophication and its causes.
i like this video its really cool
Me: ok cool . people who like it: yaaaaasy oh yay sooooo col
Cool
nice
Wouldn't putting one if these easements on a property make it's resale value drop?
Well' I would say, that's why alot of people should have respect when it comes to trees, cuz they have been living in michigan for thousands of years! even way before michigan became a state. And same thing for wildlife. But good video of that.
Fantastic job Bill and Georgia on presenting the story of forests..A+++ on communication of the forest. Dennis Renken
Not a's big for decent size veneer log trees. Like how there use to be. But inerways nice video of that.
At 0:30 yeah there are alot of trees but not a's much! Like how it was before. At 1:42 yeah theirs probably are a little bit more trees, but they aren't not a's big, like how the old ones once was. But that's just my opinion.
I love Michigan's forests!
Select cutting which often looks like a clear cut isn't good. Over cutting of hardwood takes to long to grow.
Hopefully honesty over greed prevails, we need a sustainable forest, not clear cutting especially public lands private owners would be will advised also to keep a sustainable forest. Any more then 25% of select cutting down hard woods is bad for nature, and is just greed over a sustainable earth and forest for future generations.
we need less people on this earth! people need to have less kids and protect more land!
So glad this channel exists
