If you believe you are going to learn knife defense from some guy on CZcams You deserve whats coming It's unlikely that as an civilian you are going to find someone to teach you effectively

Also most knife attacks will be a rapid flurry of stabs shanks shivs from up close and unsuspecting. It wont be chops or slashes. Most attacks will never be overhead chops, its going to be straight horiziontal direct sewing machine thrusts with a very short range of motion. Use your knees etc and dont let freezing up in shock be your reaction. Watch prison knife fights that's realistic attacks. The wide overhead attacks in this video are not what youll see in real life. And youll never see slashes either. Or rarely. If someone is out to kill, its gonna be stabs from up close atleast 20 timess of the other guy trying to stick you in and out. On your guts and stomach or chest or back, never above your shoulders. Atleast not for most attacks.
