Our neighbors gather every other Tuesday morning for Bible Study and are beginning to study Amos.

I watched this speech maybe months ago. Hours ago, I just sat for the impromptu round of my public speaking competition. His opening suddenly came onto my mind and I used it in my impromptu, safe to say I’m still not over how good my speech was. Thank you!

Amen. I am loving Amos as well. It's very interesting that I have done many studies in the past 44 or so years. But when they were complete, that was it. I can't get enough of this study. HIs faithfulness is so powerful. Oh may we all be standing faithful when we meet him face to face. This study is soooo good. Had no idea God could speak through such an old testament prophet still today. Yes we can choose the Good Life and it is a great life walking through life with Jesus. I can testify of His faithfulness in my life over and over through 7 decades. When we neglect other things in life, we see the results and it is not good. When we neglect God's word, it will show up in other areas. Isn't it better to have our daily portion than to starve our selves and then stuff our selves with junk food? You know what I'm talking about. Anyway, what Jennifer said,, something about being faithful to your Godin the easy times, will then bring out faith when you need it most in the hard times. God gives the faith and grace in it.Embrace God's Word. I went through a cancer journey and God walked with me and grew my faith and faithfulness. It's hard to see my book through all the tears.
